Oooooo, you can't stop there. Not Buffy!!! I really hope Spike is all alone in the world. He is not buildt to be alone. I'm torn at this moment, I really want to read more, but I'm sad to see the story end. It's an absolutely fantastic brilliant story. I love it so much!

OMG!! When I saw the angst warning I was so not prepared for this...crying my eyes out ,seriously. :(
Poor, poor Spike...he's all alone now. But I have a feeling that this story is not gonna end happily, and everyone will be dead. Spike seems to be acting like this is the last visit. Oh I hope he gets into heaven w/ his family.
The scene with Jade's death had me crying so hard, glad I'm alone while reading this.
The end was....mean, mean, mean.Your muse is outta control. Hope you can rassle him back into shape soon.
Can't wait to see what you come up with for the end, even if it breaks my heart. *kisses and hugs*

Whoo...amazing chapter, excellent writing. I loved the trip thru the Slayer and vamps throughout time. Poor Willow. And Xander sure doesn't seem too trustworthy. Loved Anya's appearance too. :)

Author's Response: Yeah, I felt kind bad making Giles a dick, but, I don't often do it, so 'plot twist' for me! :D He was kind of a dick in the comics too, IMO, so not far off character! And I loved Buffy laying down the law to Xander about Spike. Always like putting Xander in his place. yes, Angel and Dru are gone for good; Hana's scarpered off somewhere perhaps ... unexpected. :O Yeah, Buffy is best when she's being 'The Slayer'. I`m both happy to "see" the Scoobies, and also irritated about their actions early in the story. Yes they we`re young, and yes Giles is the elder, but they should have been able to stand up for her (but of course then Spike couldn`t be her white knight :) ) I loved that Buffy stood up for herself and her life. The Scoobies need to earn her trust again. Anya is back, and I really hope she will stay. She can be a good help for Buffy, especially as a vengeance demon :) But how will the Unexpected Spuffy handle Hana? My goodness, what a mess she will wreck. Will the Unexpected Spuffy have any connection with this Universe???? Get Spike back on his feet, please! I need a "bloody" dose of Spike ;)
Author's Response: Hi Catrine! Yeah, you know, to make a story you have to have people make mistakes or do dumb things, otherwise it's pretty boring. I think I could see Xander and Willow going along with Giles if Buffy showed no sign of improving and he told them the Council could certainly help her. But yeah, they were old enough to think for themselves, for sure! And, of course, I so wanted Spike to be her white knight, so ... someone must be the meanie! heehee! I had such a hard time writing Anya, she kept coming out sounding like Joan! I guess I eventually got her right, though. And yes, she could be a big help! Her knowledge alone is helpful!
At this point, I don't have any plans for Unexpected Spuffy to have any contact here, but you just never know what MIGHT happen later. And what Hana will do there I'm not sure either ... we'll have to wait and see. :D Thanks so much for reading and stopping in here! We'll have more Spike soon!

Not really surprised at Giles' attitude. Buffy has every right to be angry with him, and he can't admit to being in the wrong. Yet.
So glad Xander & Willow are helping. Now we just need to heal Spike and see about slaying Angelus & Dru... and find out who the new slayer is!
Author's Response: Hey, A4S!! Yeah, I mean Giles tried to KILL Spike in canon, so he's certainly capable of just about anything, and blaming Spike for taking Buffy away would be natural, I think. as defective as your penis?”!! The
entire encounter was the perfect Joan channeling Spike moment – he would have been
so proud of her if he had been there to hear it wouldn’t he? I don’t remember Sam being Riley’s superior in
the series so that idea was genius.
Actual physical bashing of Captain Cardboard is second only to bashing

Oh man, poor Buffy...she's just in such a bad place and so overwhelmed. She needs help, and Spike is really bad off. :( I hope she considers giving him her blood.
Hopefully someone can offer her help. Giles maybe? It's partially his fault about Angelus. Too bad she has no close friends. :(

Author's Response: Hey, A4S!! The Scoobies are back! I have a feeling there may be some ups and downs with them, but we'll see how the 'forgiveness' goes. Perhaps easier to forgive Willow and Xander than Giles, especially considering what happened in Sunnydale with Caleb and The First and setting Angelus free. And yes, Buffy will need to go back to the warehouse and check it, and get the scythe and try to gather up all of Joan, cos no way she's just leaving her there. So, still lots to do, but perhaps Willow and Xander can help with things now. Thanks much!!

Poor poor Buffy, and Spike! I really hope they are out of the woods at this time. How much can a couple deal with? (I know, Spuffy survive everything ;) ) I`m really gonna miss Joan, she was such an extraordinary person. I loved how you managed to evolve her from a sort of "mindless" bot to a unique person and the dynamic of the threesome. You have created yet another fantastic Spuffy universe. I`ve read the Unexpected serier a couple of times, and I will certainly reread this one also :) Can`t wait to see what happens.

I'll really miss Joan too. I really liked Joan and how she managed to evolve over time. I struggled a lot with her demise, but loved the tragic poetry of her sacrifice. A true Champion. When I started, I never imagined she'd become such a HUGE part of the story, honestly. Now, I'm so glad I included her. Thanks again, more soon!
