I didn't see that coming with Hank. Poor Buffy, she had issues before and now this. Now it's time for Dawn to get some information, and poor Spike, his good deed wilo be known.

they are just too cute and domestic.  For Buffy to feel comfortable asking Spike the questions on withdrawl pains shows that.  She is just getting a glimpse at what life 'can' be.  I am just happy that they are taking things slow and really getting to know each other.  And for Buffy to wake up and not freak out in her bedroom is telling.  I hate that Darla found herself in that situation outside of the club.  But she was able to pull back before crossing the final line.  But I think Buffy being with both of them for so long has given her a perspective on them as individuals and not just vampires.  I don't know what her dad showing up is going to do but I can't wait to find out.

We can see how domestic Spike and Buffy's life are now. Then we had Spike's good thoughts while watching Bufry sleep. It was also good to hear about Darla's struggle with not acting like a vampire.

HOT HOT HOT.... I am so happy that even through all of the lust they are talking.  She knows where the line is that they cannot cross before they are claimed.  Spike is being such a gentleman.  They are becoming honest and they both now KNOW that feelings are involved.  I can't imagine having to be drawn to someone and can do nothing about it and not feel for that person.  They are doing this right.  And the last scene with Darla in THEIR bedroom was just too funny.  Just love the update.

Will we be learning the origin of this Spike?  Jagged scars?  hhhmmm?  steaming up.  I hope we get to the main event soon.

Well well well.... I think they are really so close to crossing that line. The plot is getting really hot.  And if the interaction in the bedroom is a prelude then the actual deed will be SCORCHING... Spike was willing to walk and Buffy was the one this time to pull him back.  I am glad that she told Dawn no on the blind date but she is going to have to come up with a story soon as to who Spike is.  I just love Darla.  She is going to be the little push that both Spike and Buffy will need to be completely open and honest with each other.  Spike doesn't want to really put his heart out there and neither does Buffy without some type of guarentee.  But life does not work that way.  Just another GREAT chapter.

I don't know how Buffy can resist him!!  Thanks for the great update.  Looking forward to the next one. 

I just so love Spike and Buffy.  Things are getting so hot between them and I am happy that Spike is not too pushy.  he knows that this is going to be a huge deal for them and he is giving her the space she needs.  I know that Buffy is scared that she will never be loved back but she just has to give him a chance and he might suprise her.  The sexual tension between them is just AWESOME and I am happy that Darla is finally coming around. (well as much as she can).  They might all become a great little family.  I don't see Willow getting on board with this not knowing Spike at all.  it would seem to come out of no where but as Spilke stated as long as they do it together... just AWESOME work and worth the wait. 

Lovely, this story makes me calm for some reason. I really dig it.

My last review kinda came of like I thought your story was too melodramatic. That isn't the case at all, I was just surprised at how much I liked the dramatics.

There was such a good calm feeling in this chapter. Buffy and Spike woke up, walked around thinking about the situation and each other. Then they meet in the kitchen and the situation get hotter until Darla arrives and it calms down again. For now things are good. If Faith arrives and is a Slayer, that could be trouble though.
I liked the banner, nice coloures.

i really love how you write.  It gives me such a feeling of peace.  When you write Buffy and Spike you show us their softer side.  Maybe that is because Buffy is not the slayer and she is not bogged down with that since of duty and the need for normalcy.  I have been waiting for an update and I really enjoyed this one.
