Now I know it' nearly a decade since you've been out of this fandom - I can't, for love or money remember what I was into that long ago - but I thought it'd be nice to let you know I loved this. I'm glad you wrote the little note at the end because it felt like you put a little of yourself into it. It was gentle and kind. It was generous in characterisation even with it's villians - if you can call Giles and Angel villians.

I loved the open ending. I loved your Buffy. It goes without saying I loved your Spike (let's face it, those of us who read this are always partial to William).

So......anyway........... well done 9 years, 3 months later.

Thanks for a wonderful story. Its friday and my brain is fried so I can't really review well, but I enjoyed it, especially since they weren't crazy in the sack the whole time (makes it really hard to skip parts and still find the plot). I also like leaving it up the read whichever he decided. Me, I'm actually ok with it either way.

I just came across your story looking for some 'post chosen' fic, and I'm stunned. This story is great! It was more believable than the most in the characters of Buffy and Spike. I liked that you showed the struggle it it for Buffy to finally accept Spike, cause lots of fics just sort of jump to this sudden realization out of nowhere. And I liked the fine line you draw between souled and soulless Spike, cause there obviously is one. I don''t always like Dawn but you wrote her great and funny as a Brat that DOESN'T whine all the time. All of the banter was just really and Spike's snarks where just really genius.
I have seldomly read a fic thought through this well and written this great, without lengthening it with endless repetition of philosophy. Of reading your others and hoping maybe you might write more one day? That's really a talent you've got there!

Just finished this story, and I loved it. I like the fact that you left it open ended. And yes, you're right -- they only thing that matters is that Buffy realized that she loved him with or without the soul.

I really liked this story. I don't know how old it is, I found it by "random" selection.

Beautiful story. I like the open ending and most of all I loved to read about Buffy finally realizing she was in love with Spike regardless of the soul. I like to think that he'll remain soulless. Even though it was an amazing gesture he did on the show to get his soul back, I liked his not-ensouled version way better and I honestly believe he proved himself enough... he doesn't need a soul to be a good guy. I really hope there'll be a sequel to this story, it was truly a pleasure to read. Keep up the great work.
