I don't know if you still read your reviews but even if you don't I wanted to leave my praise for this particular fic of yours, Addie. It is pretty much perfect. It's got pretty much spot on characterization and thank you for writing everyone in character at that particular point in the story (after NFA), meaning everyone's a little older and wiser with a notable exception (Angel), which I think is totally right for where he is at that moment emotionally and mentally. Thank you for the great plot and not throwing Buffy and Spike in bed together asap because as much as that can work if fine carefully, them talking and understanding each other is a better way to do by their relationship, imho. I love what you did with the Shanshu and how you explained it, the fact that you tried to explain it was something I really, really appreciated btw, and prophecies and the PTB. I'm gonna vote this as my favorite post NFA and Chosen reunion fic for all these reasons but these two lines in particular: "You said once that you'd always be my girl." "Yes, I did. But, I'm a woman now." Yes! You have just summed up the essence of Bangel: why it happened and why it ultimately didn't and could never work, and you had my girl Buffy be the one to spell it out to Angel. She got to walk away from him and leave their once mutual fantasy behind for good. For that alone I thank you: thank you for letting Buffy grow up and be happy :). Thanks for letting Spike grow up and be happy too! I would recommend this fic to anyone who is awesome and who also enjoys awesome things :).

Yes! Yes! Yes! I absolutely loved this chappie! The thing with Giles apologizing to Spike. The thing with Angel being so sad that he didn't get to rear Connor (that disappointed me, too). And I am so excited that Angel is finally getting it on with Cordy! They are so perfect for each other; she doesn't take all his being Stupid Angel & Know-it-All Angel. She loves him for, & in spite of, what he is.

It must be really weird for Buffy - finding out that Spike is alive, going directly into battle ( and the possibility that he might die AGAIN ) , being angry at Spike for not telling her, then having Spike suddenly being REALLY alive, being angry at Angel for being so , well, so ANGEL...I think Buffy is dealing awfully well.Certainly better than I would! I love your Cordy, too.

I can't BELIEVE people actually had complaints about your earlier chapters! One, two and three were ALL better than four. Not that four was bad, as literature. I'm just not as big with the angst as some people are.

Really enjoyed your interactions of Buffy & Illyria. It was completely new to me so I was very excited.

I never could understand why Joss had Buffy fucking the immortal. After all the fuss she made about Spike being a demon i thought she'd shy away from other non humans. Still makes my stomache turn to think of her fucking someone Spike despises.
