Author's Response: Let me just say ...YES MAJOR EWWWWWWWW!!! but it's based on a condition called stockholm syndrome that victims of violent crimes sometimes get for some reason. I will explain it in the next chappy don't give me up yet!!!! :P

Great chapter. I knew Riley was finished as soon as he came to his epiphany and sorted out his problems. I could see that one coming a mile away. It was the way it happened that surprised me. I expected his to be turned. As to the other reviewers asking what the hell happened when everyone went "poof" I think you were more than clear enough. Buffy has many of Drac's powers, hence the ability to go "poof". I think that's what happens when you read just the new chapter and rely on hazy memories of the one's that have gone before, though this fic is original enough that it should stick in the their memories. Whatever . . . ! Again, great chapter. Any chance of any more "Tempus de Muto" soon?
Summary: How exactly did the legend of the Immortal start? Not exactly my usual style of writing but still ok. My thoughts on what could have happened...to explain how Season 5 ATS Spike was so Buffy season 4...

I kept thinking that she should have asked for an annullment rather than a divorce. Why would she want to be 'divorced Buffy' when she could be 'never been married Buffy'? Beyond that, pretty damn funny. Angel and Xena stuff was pretty disturbing though. I think you hurt my brain.
