Love the ending with them screwing against the wall. It's how they began their time together in the show, only the ending to this story is how it should have gone. Hot and passionate, but tender and loving at the same time. Good job with this story, it was an original idea, and I hope you write plenty more.

I like the way you introduced Dawn in this. Even if Dawn wasn't always the best of characters, I always loved the relationship that she and Spike shared. I love how much more detail you bring to the relationship between Spike and all the Summer's women, too.

At least you acknolwedge that everything between Buffy and Spike isn't going to be all sunshine and roses after everything that's happened. Something like that takes a toll, and unfortunately that's something that some authors tend to ignore. You've got your readers feeling the stress, and that's something that makes it a good page turner.

It needs a bit of beta work, but it's definitely a great idea. I always thought Spike deserved much better than Buffy had EVER given him, in any part of the show. Rubbing in the fact that someone could actually treat him decently might be the perfect way to go.
Author's Response: Up till this chapter I have not had it completly beta'd. But this chapter was looked over, and hopefully I will get the first few chapters betad. Well in the upcoming chapters we might just see how much better things might be if he stays with Katie. But honestly can Spike stay away from our leading lady?
