Wow, that was a very powerful chapter. Buffy seeing what had been done to him, but not yet understanding the extent of his injuries. Only wanting to help him, to take him home to safty. Spikes reaction, like an injured animal, not understanding, only knowing fear of more pain. Trying to please the one who was gentle, but still fearing more pain. (God, I hate that he thinks that he deserves what has happened to him.) :(

Very Very Good! :( In a very sad, very painful way, this chapter was most excellent. I love the connection between Spike and Dawn. But at the end, where Buffy cries and Spike instinctivly reaches out to try to help/sooth her, it was most beautiful. Great chapter!!!

I've been following this story, just haven't commented before. {sorry about that} :)
This story is getting more and more interesting with each chapter. It's funny how Buffy had commented to Faith a few chapter earlier about how she and Angel both needed to curb their arrogance, and here she is in a new world throwing her arrogance around like this new world should bow down to her and beg for her help.
Poor Dawn, at least she has one friend. Where the hell is Spike, still stuck in the snow???

A really good update!!! It's good to see that Kennedy has done some growing up since Sunydale, but she really got in over her head when she went up against Hamilton. It's a good thing Riley was there to save her. I loved it when he grinned and told Giles that it must have pissed Angel off when he found out that Buffy loved Spike. :D
