Really loved this story..
He had died a hero, and had been resurrected a nuisance. He had died looking into eyes filled with pride and something that he dared think might have been love, and had been resurrected only to see eyes filled with contempt and hatred. The eyes of his grandsire.
Now that was a sad start to the story.

Summary: Pissed that Drusilla dragged him back to the Hellmouth, Spike has to find SOME way to amuse himself. Pretending to have a soul, he decides to sweep the Slayer off her feet before going in for the kill. Trouble is, feelings (and grandsires) always get in the way.

Started reading it and then somehow it passed me bye, so I am very glad you added the epilogue (which is excellent of course), and i will finish reading the other story as soon as possible.
Summary: AU (non comics compliant) future fic in which Buffy has bought an old house in London and is fixing it up. She finds a strange vampire hiding in her tool shed and uncharacteristically allows him to stay there until the sun goes down and he can leave. But then he comes back...
