I've been writing fanfic and the like for years, since the fifth season of Buffy. I've been looking for a good spuffy site for ages. I understand that spuffy itself isn't a strictly cannon 'ship. But, what I'm sick of reading is stories where Spike and Buffy are automatically in love at the beginning. How 'bout some conflict, more witty banter. Something more than the typical mush.
