Clem: (grabs Dawn outside)

Buffy: Look Spike... I know what happened last night...is both painful for the both of us but... I need someone to take care of Dawn while I'm solving Willow's problem.

Spike: (seems like he's packing things up in a box)

Buffy: What are you doing?

Spike: What do you think I'm doing?

Buffy: Are you going somewhere?

Spike: You got it.

Buffy: Maybe you can take Dawn with you.

Spike: No... cause when i step out that door, I'm not coming back.

Buffy: What? Why? What do you mean?

Spike: Isn't this what you want? You don't wanna see me anymore, you don't like me, you can't shag me, and worst of all (murmurs) you can NEVER love me. So what's the point staying here?

Buffy: Look Spike...we need you.

Spike: you don't need me. you just pump out information from me and that's it. you gonna throw me again outside your world after that. Spike: keep your sorries... oh, anyway, you can ask Clem to take care of Dawn. He'll stay here.

Buffy: Where will you go?

Spike: Somewhere I can find peace. (heading towards the door)

Dawn: (confused of what's happening) okay...

Buffy: (gets the book and leaves. when she's already outside of Spike's crypt she take a look around if Spike is still there. she can't find even his shadow. she just went straight to Buffy's home. she walks sadly, deep thoughts about what just happen to her and Spike, doesn't seem to care where her feet will take her. Stumbles upon Xander)

Xander: Buffy!

Buffy: (surprised) a... Xander!

Xander: are you okay?

Buffy: ya, I'm... okay (in a soft voice)

Xander: did that rapist did touch you again?

Buffy: no he did not...he...will...never again (almost in tears) in fact we will never see him...again...anymore

Xander: that's good news! finally! (so happy) he better go back to hell where he belongs! wait... who's gonna look out after Dawn now?

Buffy: Clem (walking fast to home)

Xander: Wait! (both him and Buffy reached the Summer's house)are you sure you're okay? I mean you should be happy that he will NEVER come back here anymore...tho he's kinda useful...

Buffy: we can never use him anymore! here (hands to Xander the book that Spike gave her)

Xander: what's this?

Buffy: he left that book to me...in case we have some questions about demons and vampires... we gotta read it...maybe it has answers to Willow's problem

Xander: you know... he has sense too sometimes. c'mon let's go to the magic shop and study this
