Oh my...Giles is failing agian....I'm about to report his ass to the man in charge, LOL.....after something like that...Butty would need those mandatory sessions with Tara for a release to return to work especially after losing a baby on the job......with getting her ass kicked so bad. and if that was 5 min of kick ass, they must have been fighing in the matrix, LOL....cause you did a great job of about 15 to min of butt kicking......still not long enough for rescue....and me I wasn't looking for Spike to rescue her...but I do wonder his motive in meeting her in such a public way knowing Angel would having her followed......and how he'd react to them meeting so intimately......I hate to asked, cause I'm assuming it will be answered in the next chapter...but who is the father of Buffy's baby and she must have been no far along to have not noticed the warning signs her birthcontrol didn't work.....sad twist you but here.....for Buffy has a very hard road to travel now, for she will be seeking revenge on the man that killed her baby and facing the guilt of she put her baby in harms way.......very wicked twist you put here.....and if Spike questions, if she tells him, about the baby I wouldn't blame him.........she didn't set a very good foundation for him on her work ethics, (ducks and hids) You've done a great job on this one.....keep up the great work......

Ok, just please tell me Spike is going to find out about the baby?....ANd shouldn't he feel a bit responsible since Angelus won't have freked if she hadn't been with Spike? And, ok....not to criticize, because I worship @ the AShlee alter, but......I'm having a hard time believing that Spike wouldn't come & see her if her knew she was that badly hurt. MORE PLEASE! Oh, Ashlee... It's so sad about the baby. I have been wondering, don't tell me if you don't want to...did Spike tell Angelus? Did Ethan Rayne? What an intense chapter. The fight scene had my heart racing! Glad Buffy made it through...and hope the bastard Angel gets castrated. Awesome story and looking forward to reading more. =)

I've just got into this story and I love the edge that it has - all the main characters, Giles included, show no simpering traits. It is cold (but Hot in places) and brutal and dramatic. It was a clumsy, fragmented fight between Buffy and Angel that realistically conveyed a very disadvantaged Buffy who, though saved by the approaching police, nevertheless is beaten into oblivion. Can't wait for the update!
