Just found this story and I am so glad that I did. I love how you are developing these characters in such depth in such a short time span. Even though there are only four chapters posted I feel as though I have much more in my minds eye. I sense that there will be a great balance of Spuffyness and angst (cannot stand it when an author does the angst to the 10th degree bit) Looking forward to the next chapters. Also, thank you for not waiting so long inbetween posting chapters ... I think that tends to lose readers after awhile. Keep on rockin' ... great story telling from you so far.

Ooofff! This cannot be good. I'm guessing that the scribbled out girl was actually Buffy, and she wrote about hating her old self, or something like that. This sucks! Now, Spike is going to humiliate Buffy, and when he learns the truth, he'll feel guilty as all hell! Aaarrg! I can't wait to see what happens next! Please update asap!

ok...so, i was thinking exactly what you wrote in the end A/N ... i can't put my finger on who it could be though. the line...'i don't ever want to be like her' screams 'realative' to me...maybe a sister Buffy has that we don't know about...who may be dead already? Faith? :) i love this guessing game...so much fun!

i'm glad you put in the flashback to the first english class in there. i forgot about that and it help realize that the 'bookish' type person was who Spike thought Dru was in the first place.

again with more home life dodging...i love it when i'm right...and of course, Joyce as Spike's mom...obviously like that, as i mentioned in my last review. i hope Joyce and Buffy get close. still no mystery man / brother / child / pet??? that Buffy is hiding at home ... am i close? on any guess? :)

of course i hate that Spike is back on the plan now that he was just starting to like her...but that will change soon...right?? :)

ok thats my rant...you just bring the long reviews out of me!!

I am really loving this story, and I am hoping that Dru and Angel and the rest of the "group" get theirs soon. Spike needs his moment of clarity, and unfortunately that wasn't it. I am hoping they all show their true black colors soon. Great chapter and thanks. interesting twist, Joyce being Spike's mum, I have a feeling that will have an interesting play in the near future........thanks

Awesome. Spike isn't falling for Dru's shit. I'm sure it will still take a little bit before things get better for Buffy, though. I wonder...has a financial misfortune come upon Buffy's family? Is she the Cordelia of season...three was it?
