You are evil. Perfectly evil. At each chapter, you make us ask ourselves questions. And when you give an answer to one of these questions, it leads us to ask ourselves others questions.

So, what is the reason of Buffy's rejection by all her former friends?

“Angel?” she asked. How had he even found out? “You told them?”... But WHAT did he find and tell about Buffy?

And concerning the fact she didn't sleep with Angel, "it was her who had refused. But how could she ever explain that to her once-friends, without revealing..."... Revealing WHAT?

And "the quiet words that the dark haired girl whispered to her next were enough to transform Buffy’s tears of loss into a snarl of rage"... WHAT did Dru say?

ARGLLL! Headache here !

I can only make assumption. If Buffy has already have a sexual relation, agreeing or not, and if she was pregnant and had a child (Harisson?), keeping it secret, before being with Angel...

Or maybe this happened a short time before she felt in love with Angel, and she discovered she was pregnant at this moment (the thing she couldn't reveal to her friends?).

And if Angel revealed that, or a part of that, is this enough to explain all Buffy's former friends behavior? Thinking she is a "slut" (Look at yourselves, Dru and Angel!).

But, on the other part, I can't see how Buffy could have managed to keep a such thing secret; after all, Buffy and all these people have known themselves since childhood, and in a small town, secrets are difficult to keep...

And if Dru and the rest of the gang were so decided to convince Spike that Buffy is a whore, a bad girl, they could have told him this fact first, in a way "Look, she's underaged and has a child, maybe she doesn't even know who is the father!".

Dru is easy to read now: she is jealous, deadly jealous of Buffy. “Buffy, I have everything now. You have nothing. Nothing”: it says all. And worse of it: I think she is always jealous of Buffy, even after what she did to her.

Dru keeps on trying to hurt Buffy again and again, playing with Spike for that. For me, she sees how Buffy is strong, still here, still standing, even after being rejected and scorned. In a word: Buffy is better than Dru, and Dru can't simply stand that.

May I add something? When Buffy dug deep her nails in Dru's neck, letting this scar, I don't think she wanted only to scratch her skin. She must have try to extract her spine. It's a feeling I have already experienced (only the feeling, my nails are too short).

Concerning Spike, at least, he saw "an enraged annoyance" in the eyes of the object of his affection. And despite all that he has been told about Buffy, the girl intrigues him. Her strange behavior would lead him to ask himself questions. To be curious about her. And to see himself, with his own eyes, who is really Buffy Summers.

Ouch! It will be so hard to wait the next chapter! So no choice, waiting, and taking an aspirin... scratch that, a valium ;)!

So it was Angel (Buffy being with him) that made her fall out of her position. After reading on I see what he did. And Dru wasn't better. ~ Buffy does everything to be silent, to keep a low profile. I wonder how long it will take Spike to 'see' her better.

I really like the story, but I don't get how they can get Spike to agree to everything they want him to do so fast. Maybe it's because I can't understand peer pressure, if you don't want to do something don't do it, especially if it's a bad idea. And I really am anxious to know this "Harry" guy, and why they all hate Buffy. Lastly, also why she didn't she answer that question if she knew it?

ok...so you complied with my request of what they did to buffy in the past...but I think we're missing *a few* fact...such s what dru whispered to buffy.... :)

and spike really needs to realize that angel and dru are together...they are together right? does buffy know this?

I did enjoy reading it! The past is still kinda of a blur to me though. Somehow the bigger pieces of jigsaw are there but the small ones are not. Love this story of yours - the more I read it, the more I get into it. Please continue! :)

Well Dru's gang sticks together (and to Dru). Riley had almost told the truth.. there is more than Dru wants Spike to believe. Oh yeah.. and now he fell for Dru's and Angel's little plan. And he even doesn't know that Dru and Angel are together. Interesting things to come, huh? :) Liked it! Till next chapter.

Oh my God! Spike is incredible of gullibility!

Are a pretty face, startled hazel eyes and a sweet voice, enough to make a man lose any capacity of reasonning? Yeah, it seems...

I think Spike is wrong. He is not (only?) "love's bitch". It's maybe worse: he suffers of a mental disease called "the knight in shining armor" syndrome. But don't be afraid, it's curable ;)!

In a way, Angel and Dru's plan can help him to really know who is Buffy. And I don't see Spike as the rest of this crowd. He doesn't seem to want to be popular, he only wants Dru to like him. And he wants to punish the Big Bad Girl.

And I keep on wondering myself who is the mysterious Harrison. Buffy's son? And if he is, who is the father?

No need to say I can't wait the next chapter :)!
