I think you're doing a good job with the therapy, I'm glad you made Giles the therapist - I really believe he'll be good for Spike.

I understand your worry for making S' feelings belivable, writing about stuff like this when you haven't gone through it... it's difficult. I think you're doing a very good job with it; both with what S is feeling and with his reactions to his feelings. S has been holding all of this inside of him for so long, even though he has spoken to B a little it isn't the same as going to Giles now. He just exploded. Good work and handled with a careful hand.

Wow - you succeeded, I think! I was crying while I read this chapter, so I'd say you definitely captured the bitterness, pain, & anger. Excellent writing. I've been hooked on this story from the beginning, and you continue to do a superb job with it. Hopefully, now that Spike has come to this realization finally for himself, things will start looking up for him. Can't wait for more.

Just found this and went straight through 25 chapters in record time. Gotta say I am really enjoying the story and the characters and the way they are working towards building a real bond. That moment, certainly due, and his response refusing her love, always the easiest thing. So much better to stay in your rut than to take a risk at change. A truly real moment. Do hope they stick it out. Amazing story. Sorry I didn't say so sooner...

I liked, Its just like I would have imagined Spike in therapy. I don't know if I said this in my last review but good touch adding Giles in as the therapist. Loved the chapter, update soon.

I thought you wrote the therapy chapter great. But I know from experience that it is sometimes easier talking to a stranger about certain things than it is to the people that you are close with. Cause although you may not want a stranger to know your business and your deepest secrets. It is sometimes easier to tell them because you are not worry as much about what they will think. I also think it will be good for Spike to talk to Giles alone sometimes. Not all the time but sometimes. Buffy can probably still go with him to the appointment and maybe leave when Spike needs to talk to Giles alone or something. I am sure there are so many terrible terrible things that are repressed back in Spike's mind that he may not want Buffy to hear ever or just yet. But I love this story and I also can't believe that it has been over a year since you started it. Keep up the great work with it.
