Ah no, Buffy won't take it good that Spike is leaving, she'll be disappointed I think.
Oh.. a visitor. *pets Buffy* Good she stands up for what he wants. Look there, Angel was denying everything, only when he heard Buffy had proof he was confessing. That tells me he would have continued to lie in the future too. She's better off without him.

Another excellent chapter. That was a cool idea - the burning of the wedding dress! And the whole Angel part - what an absolute ass - with the whole - "you need some guidance" and "you don't get to say when we're over". Gooood riddance, and good for Buffy (again) standing up for herself and finally closing that relationship down. What a disappointment that Willow would sell her out like that.

I am, however, wonder how a girl's best friend would knowingly tell her lying, cheating bastard of a fiance where she was hiding out? I know my true friends wouldn't! Shame on Willow. And shame on Buffy's family for putting her in a situation to have her heart broken like that, all for the sake of some family priority. I do hope that her parents don't give her a hard time.
Great chapter, though I am eager to find out what Spike is going to do about his travel plans. Take Buffy with him perhaps? She really doesn't have a reason to stay, right?

I loved the Angel confrontation, and that you allowed Buffy to be the one to flatten him (quite in character). Spike is in waaaaay over his head, but is so amazingly sweet.
