Yes, please, keep going. It's always a pleasure to read a well written story. I guess readers here are usually eager to get to the business (which is Spuffy, of course), but I like the pace you've taken in the first chapters.
Author's Response: Thank you. To be honest, I haven't really written anything major since college and never thought that I would be writing fanfiction. It's kinda fun, though. I used to love to write, and I'm hoping this will help me get those skills back. A little nerve-racking with this being a public forum, but I'm all for "trial by fire."
