Great job describing Buffy here, from her decision to take his car to her feelings about Riley cheating and how her romantic ideals are dead and the backstory of how her family views her relationship with him. And I can so see Buffy as the responsible one Faith turns to when she goes too far and gets herself in trouble.
The last paragraph from Spike is perfect for his state of mind, how he must be feeling physically, and the intro of Buffy. Great job and I hope you update soon! I can't wait to see more Spike/Buffy interaction.

I like how you set up the history of Spike with Drusilla and
Angel and connecting Faith Riley and Buffy together. I'd like to see Buffy and Spike meet and I'm looking forward to the next update. I do hope the parallel to 'Spike being a vampire, they can't be together' isn't 'Spike is a junkie, they can't be together', though, because being something and choosing to do something dangerous and unhealthy aren't the same, and if he quit for Dru he shouldn't try to get Buffy hooked on drugs.
Other than that, I liked Faith confronting Riley with a girl I imagine looks just like the vampire giving him suck jobs on canon, and mentioning Buffy in passing in front of Spike. Good job.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your input! Don't worry about Spike trying to hook anyone on drugs. He's more 'Spike likes drugs so Spike should do drugs' than 'Spike likes drugs so everyone should do drugs'.
