No, it wasn’t confusing.
It was funny (or sad – depending on how you see it) to see Buffy and Spike denying that it was more than just an accident what they had. I’m glad that Spike told Leanna exactly that he wants to break with her. And at the very last sentence of the chapter: Dru is back. I don’t think that it will be so good. Hopefully Spike is able now to that Dru and Buffy are different persons – and don’t blame Buffy for errors that Dru has made. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Well I guess you can look at it in the way that their verbal denials may not be voicing how they feel about it inside :) I think Buffy would realistically deny it and since Spike is in Buffy's role, they are both like Buffy, lol. I'm glad you caught that part about Spike grouping Dru and Buffy as the same! It's pretty important to note, but as I said, things have changed now ;) Thanks for reviewing!

Damn, damn, damn!! Why did Spike have to shower? Leanna finding out would have kept me in a good mood for the entire week! LOL! Can't wait to see how Drusilla fits into the mess. If it was reversed, Angel would go and screw everything up, so I'm not exactly thrilled with that idea, but I know you'll make it Spuffy friendly in time. Angst is what makes a great story, so I'll be a good little girl and be patient (if I have to) :-) Hope you update soon!

It would have been classic if he didn't shower but I got more planned before that explosion ;) I seriously did not want to write Dru in, but it was inevitable to the story, blah. No, I like the tenderness. I reaaly do think Spike would have been nicer thsn Buffy if the roles were reversed.

I think the tenderness in the morning after scene works great! Being in this alternate reality would make Buffy feel so lost and alone. It's natural that she would feel very insecure, and not be able to hide those overwhelming feelings very well. To make matters worse, the insecurity of being rejected, yet again, would push her over the top. Poor Buffy. I hope this doesn't make her withdraw into her shell. I liked that Spike was sensitive to Buffy's insecurity and feelings. I do wish the Xander would shut up though. Oh, and that Leanna would drop off the face of the earth. Ugh. I hope Tara gets some more hints and figures things out. Wonderful chapter again! I just can't get enough of this story!

I loved Buffy's little outburst! Something I could competely imagine her doing if she had been in this situation on the show. Blech- did you have to end the chapter with Leanna? I'll probably have nightmares LOL!!! Or I'll have really sweet dreams of the chip malfunctioning and Buffy kicking her skanky...*clears throat* anyway- great chapter and I told you that you shouldn't be worried about it. I don't think it was out of character at all. Hope you have another update for us soon!
