Please dont let Buffy forgive Spike easily. The guy has to suffer for what he did, and him regretting his decision or feeling guilty about it wont be enough.
Author's Response: OK. I can't make any promises, because I don't want to reveal what's coming. But I will say this: both of them are suffering quite a bit, and it's not all Spike's fault. He did what he thought he had to do, ya know? still, I'll try to work in some real suffering...hm...*turning wheels*... =)

Does Spike realize he has put Buffy in danger, as if hurting her so cruelly was not enough. It reminded me of Buffy's waking-up call after she slept with Angel, ugh! I wish Spike showed a little more concern about the woman he is supposed to love.
Author's Response: He did what he thought was best at the time. There will be self-flagellation on his part in the next update, but please, don't be too hard on him--he did the only thing he could do at the time. it ripped him apart, but he didn't have a choice, really. There will be rescues and stuff in the next update, so I hope you'll forgive him then =)

well at least my WTF ? was answered lol! Poor Buffy still though and poor Spike once he realises that what he did for Buffy to keep her safe only put her into more danger. I love the characters in this fic, they all really remind me of the "real ones". Except for Dawn because in this shes not annoying, on the show i just wanted her gone.
Author's Response: About the Dawn thing--me too, that's why I made her not annoying in this fic. I'm close to Dawn's age and I don't know anyone near that immature...I think it's one of a few things the writers really screwed up. Thanks for saying you love the story =) It's great to know I've stayed true to the characters.

Grrrrr.....im still mad at Spike and the gang. I get why they did it, but they're all still a bunch of a-holes for doing it, especially Spike. And yes, you are sadistic for liking to make us all mad lol. Please update as soon as you can!

So there was really a reason behind that all. ... I'm wondering if Spike knows how deep he hurt Buffy... and what it did cost him to do so. *sniff* Relieved to read that she still trust Spike - and she was right not to trust Riley. Even if it's to late now. Hope you'll update soon!
