Great story. The plot really kept my interest from beginning to end. I liked that Dawn and Spike were close again and that Ilyria continued to be protective of Spike. I was wondering what Spike looked like in the end though. Was all his hair back - did he dye it back to blonde? Was he very scarred? Just the right mix of description and dialogue - it was very well written and I enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks!!

Author's Response: Sta- I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And, if you're interested- there is a sequel called "Vanishing Point" more of his appearance is described. We all know that the blonde is dye- so if his natural hait grew back in, it would be brown. Have you seen pictures of Mr. Marsters after "Spike?" Think of that when you want to know what he looks like in the next story.

What a great story!! It's so nice to read a well-developed, thought provoking plot! PERFECT! The 76 trombones was a nice touch. I was all ooo and ahhh and yeeeee as I was reading the chapter, and then I got to the last few lines where he said there were 76 trombones, and I think that is just perfect. Just like he said in OMWF ... "The say you suss out what you want there'll be a parade, 76 bloody trombones and all." (paraphrase, as I don't have the exact quote, but that is close). I have followed this story from the first moment I found it early on, and read every update as they came. I will be eagerly awaiting to see the sequel. I've got the title written down, and you can bet I'll be right there through the whole next one too. Thank you for a wonderful piece of work.
