This story has made me laugh, cry, have need of a cold shower, and make that funny little 'aaaaawwwwww' noise. It's been a very entertaining ride so far and I can't wait to see what happens next. I really like the twist of the Halloween claim still holding. That was really clever. Well done!

Where to start? This was a great update. Angst, Spuffy, explanations, and new questions all rolled into one!! Nice touch with Jenny and Giles LOL What with his vampiric hearing, Spike must've heard everything in surround sound. I like how he doesn't want to approach Buffy yet and the little bit of Spuffy was perfect. It definitely renewed my faith in the title of this fic. Thank the goddess that Spike finally told Dru she was retarded. Even he couldn't figure out what she was talking about. I hope Jenny can help him piece together his claim on Buffy and its effects on his demon. I sent you an email, btw, with my new email address.

I like the fact that William/Spike is in a kind of lighter place, with Buffy and all? But, I'm a little confused. Is Jenny giving her consent for William/Spike to go after Buffy and claim her?
Anyway, it doesn't matter, really. It's up to you the author(ess) to write this how you want it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, im so happy that he doesnt feel the need to be with dru, YAY. im so happy taht he still loves her and that he has this loght that makes him not want to kill, thats so cool. i love this story and am so happy that u updated. the last two chapters kicked ass. i thought it was so funny that u wrote wat u did about giles and jenny that was so funny. i really hope that he talks to buffy and that they work it out and are together. also i hope that willow doesnt get hurt or break up with him becuz hes a wolf. please update as soon as u can, i cant wait to read more and am so Dying to read wat happens next thanx

Spikes a very diff kind of vamp in this fic but ill explain why in later updates.....The Giles Jenny thing had to be added lol, i dont know why but the idea popped nto my head and wouldnt let me go till it was typed! They will be together sooner or later so no worries there.......as for the whole Oz being a wolf thing, i promise it wont be so bad! Like I said before-WOW. I was crying when I read the letter that William had left for Buffy. God, it was so incredible of him to have had such foresight and to know Buffy so well, that he told her not to feel responsible. This chapter was full of so many great lines that I don't even know where to start. My heart skipped a beat or two when Jenny told him 'you're not living' and the simplicity of his answer was so touching, 'I am when I'm with her'. What she must have seen in his eyes-the love and certainty-to unchain him and let him go. I know she must be so nervous about losing him again but permanently this time if Buffy stakes him. I was so happy about the little glimpse of Spike, when he growled at Jenny about keeping him chained up. Again, good job writing the nutbag. Sure Dru, the stars are whispering. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

That was so awesome how you described how he felt with the demon inside him trying to take over with William trying to do the right thing and save his mother. I just wonder what it'll be like when he sees Buffy? And will he hate Dru? I'm dying here!
