That was really harsh of Buffy to finally tell him she loves him at this point. She is breaking his spirit and she thinks this is a good thing and that he will understand some day? Psycho. Why can't she just admit that she is the one with issues and who needs to change. She needs to not control Will. If she needs "to leave the room" in order to let William make cookies his way, then she has severe control issues. She should be able to stay in the room and keep her mouth shut. She needs to change that habit otherwise she can never be together with anybody.

Author's Response: Sometimes when its someone you love you can't help yourself. And she knows she needs to bake too. It's all about self discovery and having the courage to stand on your own two feet do it. Sometimes its hard to do that, but in the long run, it's the best way.

Oh man, the 'I love you ' at the end there, really sad! Awesome chapter, and I'm glad you're back! I can't wait for more!

Andrew being insightful and supportive was a nice twist, and both he and Buffy were making a lot of sense in this chapter. I hope Spike's journey of self discovery has some surprising results, otherwise Buffy might as well have stayed by his side.

hope spike figures out what he's gonna do now. wouldn't want him drinking himself into a coma or something. (is that even possible..nevermind. off topic) anyway, i can't wait til you get back. i'm dying to know what happens next. maybe buffy could stop being a doof for a few seconds and go back to will. i don't think i can take anymore angst but i know it'll be worth it when they finally do get together. post soon. i don't hate you or buffy. i have faith in the spuffyness. just make it up to us soon.

I did suffer under your Buffy/Wesley and lived through it - I'll live through this Buffy here - but I really hope you'll make it better - SOON! Okay - now I've said this - to the fic: She might be an evil bitch, but she's my evil bitch. Loved this line. It's sooo right. But the question is: Where do they go from here? I love this chapter! Andrew is too cute! Buffy really did do the right thing. William needs to figure out his place in the world before he goes to Buffy, believe me, I know this all too well from personal experiance. "That my ‘shoot first, apologize later' way of life has got to end." I think that is the truest line you've written thus far. My only problem with her tete a tete with Willow is that she needed to be saying all of that to Spike. Maybe if she did maybe their conversations will stop ending in Spike yelling "GET THE F*** OUT!" Then again, if she'd come to the "shoot first, apologize later" revelation a little earlier, that would have just prevented it all to begin with! LOL! Love that Andrew, in his own weird way, is being a voice of wisdom for Spike. BTW, if I haven't said it recently, feeling a little better about the story. Just please don't let this continue much longer 'cause Happy Spuffy is so much better than 'I hate you' Spuffy'.
