So that was what Angel did that killed Buffy: She got infected by the virus. Really not so good. I hope because Spike did see something in his dreams, he'll be able to prevent it from happening.

Author's Response: Joni's changed it just by doing what she did. So it's possible she made it better. But she could have made it worse,too. Read and find out which!

Hmm ... I was a little bit confused in this chapter, but I'm sure it is just part of the set up. Excellent chat between Angelus and Giles. The whole virus part is what I'm confused about ... but they don't realize that Joni is from the future. Look forward to the next chapter.

So Angel did something or has something that is important and he doesn't now it (The Ring? I don't think so). Lace? Mmm. Joni's blood did have antibodies? I wonder if her blood would have given the cure for Buffy's desease. Oh my - it's all about Joni! Looking forward to see if they (Buffy and Spike) will get her in time (to save her from Angelus)

Looks like all the players are in place. Things are really getting exciting now! I hope Spike bests Angel this time around and saves his girls. Wouldn't it just be easier if he dusted Angel? Anyway love the story so far!

Author's Response: Oh but Angel's *such* an easy villian to write! If I dusted him, I'd actually have to think one up, and that is soo hard. Still, it *might * happen ;-)

Am I mistaken or did future Spike know how present Spike would react to Joni's death? Just curious. It's sad seeing Spike in so much pain i'm glad Buffy is there for him. It seems as though Angel didn't learn anything from his experiences in the previous story. But maybe i'm wrong. Great chapter!

Author's Response: Future Spike(A) knew how the timeline went the first time around. Joni changed things aa little because of what she did. But, remember the Spike of this timeline has been having nightmares. It's possible that Joni's Daddy did too, and tried to keep his nightmares from coming true. But, teenagers are funny creatures, so... As far as Angel, remember, Joni's Daddy didn't want him anywhere near her? There could be a reason for that. ;-)

Oh my - there's a lot in this chapter. I don't know if I remember to mention everything: So Spike was human when he died, because of that brass ring. Joni is the slayer, can do magic too. Wants to see her father again. Spike wanted Willow to protect Joni - what for? Not to do what she did? Seems she's going back in time. Oh - and Wilow thinks it's her fault Spike had to die.. when whatever it was that happened. Well - as I thought before: I hope Joni can make it right -and won't do it more wrong!
