I absolutely loved this update! I really liked the moment when Buffy got her fire back and decided she would never be a victim again. Spike and Buffy's bantering in the drugstore was wonderful. I just love the fact that Spike and Buffy are hiding out on their own now. Can't wait to read more.

So much nostolgia brought up from the first fic..Spike is fighting against the inevitable..Spuffy is meant to be! I love the obvious changes that has taken place within Buffy since the first story too..That much strength and confidence in person after coming back from the edge like Buffy did is amazing..
Surely Spike is going to wake up and understand what had to happen for Buffy to be the person that she is now. The condom thing is pretty funny. So glad to see and update!

Good chapter on the emotional action between the blondes and the threat from Luke. Spike is an open book to Kate and Lorne who nudge him to do the right thing when he needs a nudge.
If the cop killed that was their backup leads me to believe that Luke's influence is far reaching to the point where he may know all the people accompanying Cassie in the safe house. He may have already made arrangements to take hostage someone to bargain in exchange for Cassie and Buffy. Has anyone heard from Fred, Joyce or Angel or Cordelia lately? They could be in danger too and need to have protection so they may not be used as collateral against Cassie's protectors and accomplace.
Too long winded here, love the chapter, biting nails on what happens next.

Darn you and your intense plot full of cliffhangers. I know he will keep her safe, I know he will keep her safe... See, got my mantra all set. Love how intense this all is, the action not to mention Spike's very conflicted emotions. I hope Spike continues to be a very good shot, because it doesn't seem that Luke's people have problems killing innocent bystanders. Great chapter. Please, update soon!
