I'm really not happy with Spike at the moment. His reactions were absolutely disgusting. Poor Buffy. But I have to admit, the more the angst, the better the story and this one is a stellar that really needs to be updated!! Very good writing!

You said you'd left out something on purpose. I hope it is the part were Spike came to his senses and told Liz to get lost (or better him getting lost because it was her apartment). Because if he slept with Liz, betraying Buffy? He is easy falling out of love / forgetting that he is in love with Buffy.
He didn't let Buffy explain before, he was just running because he felt hurt so much (with reason because Buffy did hurt him).
Can't say I loved Spike's reaction here but looking forward to more to find out what happened.

Author's Response: I know I have taken forever between updates, so it my fault if it is not clear. Yes, he forgot to use one with Buffy. He had to, or I would not have my story : ) As for Dru, they had a mutual agreement never to have kids, therefore she was on Birth control. Odds are, if you're married and the woman in on the pill, you don't use a rubber. And, Liz? Well, we don't quite know what happened with her. Thanks for reading!

I don't think Spike did anything with Liz but he still pissed me off by going with her in the first place. Baaaad move.
I think Buffy is right in not rushing into marriage but that proposal Spike made was just so sweet that it breaks my heart that she turned him down.

Author's Response: Ah, Spike. He always gets himself into trouble, doesn't he? It was hard for me to write that proposal, mainly because I knew she was going to say no. The reader in me was sooooo mad, but I knew I needed it for the story. If I made everything fluffy happy Spuffy like I want.... well, Spike would't get into any trouble. Let's face it, that just wouldn't be Spike at all, eh?

Wow! I somehow missed this story along the way, but I'm really glad I stumbled across it. I'm loving it so far! But what a point to join the fun.... I'm not sure I can stand the suspense. Where is Spike headed now and why did Buffy turn him down?

I'm not sure how often you update but I will be keeping it on my list of ones to watch. Can't wait for more!
