I was completely hooked on this story! I didn't plan on reading the entire story in one sitting, but once I read the first couple chapters, I just had to read on! Great job, and I look forward to reading any future adventures of Meret and Spike.

Nooooo! I so didn't want this one to end. I loved everything about this story and I'm glad you didn't force the whole Spuffy thing it all came off as natural. Especially if there's a sequel in the works. Make sure in your summary that you site that it's a sequel to Serpents. Oooh, or that could be your title Sequel to Serpents, it's got a nice alliterative ring to it don't ya' think? Anyway, thanks so much for writing this.

Very funny ending, but I don't want it to be an ending of the STORY, just and ending of the chapter! *Sniffles* Evil author. Brilliant author, yes. But still.... *Sigh* Very amazing job. I do hope Spike will make sure it's ok with Meret before he gives her eggs away... after all, she might want to have her offspring know that she's their mommy. Although somehow, I can see Meret giving one to Buffy on her own initiative. And, I just thought of this, it rather levels the playing field, if the Scoobies can't conceal from Spike how they feel about him.

That was a fine ending to the opening story of the Coatlverse, pet. Loved it!

Giles revelation of the prophesy and Spike's role in it answered much but also left much to be explored. His belief that the goddess Coatlicue was instrumental in Maclin's failed plan told us who was behind things, and I'm assuming that because Spike was the only 'dead' walking to associate with the gang Coatlicue rightly identified him as one part of the prophesy and the same with Buffy...

Now all that's left to do is to wait for you to write the sequel, so that we can see Meret's offspring and watch them 'choose' their life partners... can you imagine the mischief Dawn and her partner will create? The sagacity of Giles's partner and the beauty of Buffy's... and all together they will have adventures that will stir the imagination... I'm so excited! *sqeeees and HUGS WW again*
