I'm afraid to say that I liked it since you might have Buffy sleeping with someone that isn't Spike

Author's Response: Um . . . no, that's my other fic "Endlessly..." Believe me on this one there is absolutely no chance of any non-Spuffy action in this fic. In regards to the Buffy/Spike stuff it will be almost fluffy. No worries. Have faith.

Author's Response: Man you must hate me. I just realized you double-spiked me with reviews here and at Buffy & Spike Central judging this fic by what I did in my other one "Endlessly..." I say again this is a Spuffy fic. There will be no non-Spuffy action so to speak. In regards to Buffy/Spike it will be quite fluffy. My other fic "Endlessly..." had a very large capitalized disclaimer warning that that would happen. It starts in a dark place and the pairing that happened happened in a very non-romantic sense. I mean Buffy woke up crying afterwards. I more or less expected hate mail and bad reviews but that is only the beginning. Don't judge this fic because of another I have written. I regards to that other fic are you this harsh to fics that begin with Buffy/Riley or Buffy/Angel only to end up Spuffy along the way. I hope each of the stories will speak for me because I have nothing else to say.

I am definitely enjoying this story and can't wait to see where it goes. However, I thought Fred was totally out of place in the Spike-Angel scene. While I'm all for the Spike/Fred interaction, one of the things that made that scene what it was, was the understanding between Angel and Spike, because in many ways they're in the same place, but there are the differences, and there's just no way that Fred could understand that.

Author's Response: No. You're right. Fred wouldn't entirely understand that. I would hope that my inclusion of Fred as opposed to Angel would change the tone of the scene. She is instead a sypathetic ear, someone to help Spike through the pain he is obviously feeling. I'm not sure Angel is in a place where he can be entirely sypathetic to Spike right now. The fact that Angel isn't there says more than Angel could ever open his mouth and say.
