Wow...I must say, I am loving the scenes between Wes and Spike. I really do hope that you put in more scenes of our two favorite british characters..Lovin the scenes between Dawn and Buffy. Andrew already told Giles that Spike was back? Totally unexpected...Put Andrew in the story more for us? His scenes make me laugh..LOVE your story! Update soon!!

Gotta tell you that I am loving this story very much. It is very smartly written which is a rare find. The Buffy Bot quote coming from Dawn was priceless. I laughed over that for a good long time. The Harmony phone scene was really funny too. You have been dead on with all of the character's voices. Angel's reaction feels right cause of his control issues. Andrew & Giles have been very touchingly amusing. Buffy & Dawn are the way that I would imagine them. You have blended all of the new scenes seemlessly with the scenes from the actual show. Spike's frustration with the slow healing of his hands which in turn blows the cap of his pent up emotions feels so right...like it was a needed scene in the actual show. Wes & Spike do seem like they would have a lot in common if they ever actually talked. Liked seeing the two of them do it in your story. Curious...what does your Wes think split him from the AI gang with Conner being erased from his memory? I can wait for the Spuffy easily cause I think the payoff will be worth it...I kinda like the slow build up so far...plus it has been a great read so far. Looking forward to your next update. Thank you so much for your time spent creating this wonderful world where my BTVS characters can live.

Author's Response: Um, thank you . . . and you're welcome!! I'm just gonna bask in the warm glow of your oh so nice review. If I had a soul cursed on me it would be gone now. As far as Wes goes I've wondered quite a bit about what it is that he remembers. He's not the one in charge so obviously he has to remember something. His obvious pain at that estrangement is one of the reasons I ended the third chapter the way I did. He has lived with the false memories for a while now, and the weight of the estrangement has to weigh heavily on him. With his right memories he at least had the knowledge that he was trying to save Connor to justify himself. Without them, and the memory of Connor I can't imagine whatever he remembers would seem enough to justify the estrangement from his friends. It must just seem like a mistake, a mistake that hurt him, and made his friends turn on him, leaving him reluctant to make that kind of mistake again.

Even though Rare is no longer exclusive to nintendo, I think I remember reading that Star Fox and Donkey Kong will remain Nintendo exclusive. If you watch though you can hear that Spike is playing the classic Donkey Kong which I don't think you can get on a gamecube (I could be wrong since I don't own one). Is there even a Donkey Kong game for Game Cube? To get more to the point though if you have a XBox with a mod chip (not hard to install, or you can just buy one premodded) you can get it to run mame. I'm sure Spike could of found some Donkey Kong roms. Who would of thunk that Spike would be able to hack his XBox :) Thats what I love about Spike he has a next gen console but uses it to run the classic games maybe even run a web server. When I first saw Spike playing the XBox I thought wow Spike has a chipped XBox. He must have being so familiar with computer chips. Its great product placement for Microsoft though (seeing how the first Buffy game was an XBox exclusive). This is the most bizzare review I've written so I'll just end it with... Must have Spuffy soon.

Author's Response: Yes, Spike was playing classic Donkey Kong so far as I can remember. No, I don't think there is a Donkey Kong game for the Gamecube, though classic DK was a bonus feature in the N64 DK game. Starfox and Donkey Kong are Nintendo exclusive. Thank you for the bizzare review, and there will be Spuffy soon, though I suppose the longer I draw it out the longer I'll keep getting reviews saying "I can't wait for Spuffy". That'd probably get really old after about thirty chapters or so. How 'bout I try out that theory. Who's game? Just kidding. We're just about there, so hang on and enjoy the ride.
