Kind of Nice dream Spike had when he woke up (except the dusting part). Good it didn't come true with him the one being dust. Seems both of them (B&S) have trouble to kill the other.
I forgot if I know why Dalton got Ethan to give Buffy a cursed costume. But Spike got to know it (and to know of the consequences from Dru) and decided to help.
Looking forward to another chapter; would be good to see you back :)

Author's Response: Dalton didn't really say why he wanted Buffy to have a cursed costume, but it will become apparent in the next chapter. Thinking about it now, I probably shouldn't have split the chapter in two. Thanks for the feedback!

Heh heh at last Kendra distracted because of Xander did keep her quiet not arguing against Buffy *gg* So she had only Giles to convince. ~ Buffy risked a lot; she is lucky she was right about the way Angelus would act, playing to be Angel. Loved the bonding between Buffy and Spike at the end of the chapter; I don't know how to describe it better. Looking forward to more!

So Angelus tries to trick Buffy into believing he's still Angel. Spike came through for Buffy though. Great chapter! Can't wait til the next update!

Author's Response: I started posting over at Elysian Fields and will do updates twice a week until the story is caught up : ) I'm trying to keep with the fact that Spike doesn't have a soul or a chip therefore he still thinks and acts like a vampire. Generally, I don't write vampire fics so it's hard for me. Anyway, thanks for all of the reviews on the chapters!

Very intriguing! I don't read many POV but this has captured my attention. I wonder what makes Spike change his mind...

Dru is indeed only interested in her beloved Angelus, forgetting everything else. ~ Buffy is trusting Spike, at last enough to have him get her some answers. Looking forward to more :)
