I'm gkad things seem to be getting a little better. Poor Spike....he always has some woman who doesn't love him as much as he lover her, if at all. I'm glad he's got Buffy and I hope he realizes how different she is to Cecily. Great chapter! I hope to see more progress in their relationship. UPDATE SOON PLEASE!!!!!!!!

NIce. I like this chapters; it moves well and is an easy read that says a lot. :-) Thanks for a good update!

First, let me say that I love this story and I always wait anxiously for an update. That said, I would like to knock Spike on his ass! One minor thing that I noticed (well not so minor if you're the expectant mother) is that he didn't even ask any questions about the pregnancy - when is the baby due, how is Buffy feeling, etc. He better show this woman some proper attention and soon! :) That said, Buffy must either be a saint or much more hormonally stable than I was when pregnant. For him to admit to his expectant girlfriend (?) that he was going to sleep with Harmony.... let's just say he would be lucky to have the ability to have any more children. Yes, he's being honest, honesty is good, blah, blah, blah.... but come on, Spike... get over your damage and grow up. Mark my words, Spike. Buffy will remember this in the delivery room so stand clear!

OK - I hope you don't take this as a negative review. If anything, I hope you can see the impact this chapter had.... I'm riled up! [Goes away to seek her own therapy....] :)

So glad that HIS insecurity was brought up..That was kinda eating at me! lol So glad that Spike understands how bad he screwed up...I know it sucks that he kinda admitted that he would have slept with Harmony...yuck..but at least he is trying to be completly honest with her. He also seems ready to do ANYTHING to fix things between them. (as he should be) Looking forward to seeing what is said with Tara!Great update!

God you bloody americans and your therapy....people break up all the time and have relationship problems all the time...this is normal!!!!!!!!! This was a misunderstanding not a total crisis????????? why cant they work it out between them?If everytime they have a misunderstanding or a fight they have to seek someone eles counsel,LOOK OUT...they wont last five minutes...love the story but lighten up sheesshhh!!!!!!!!

Author's Response: well, i'm far from American. So much that i've never been in the states or anywhere near. This is fic though, and I've been told that anything's possible in this world. The main thing though in this story is that they both have issues, and it turns out that Spike's issues are actually larger than Buffy's. His lack of trust in women because of what was done to him in the past, really can only be solved with talking to someone. This doesn't have anything to do with Buffys and Spikes relationship. This is something that would have come to light in any serious relationship he would have been in. So don't get me wrong on the therapy thing. To me this was the right thing to do. Also to progress the story in a believable way.

After reading the whole story in one sitting, here's my take on Spike. He can't be "in love" with Buffy since he doesn't know her. Even though she showed him anything but, he thought not only did she kiss Riley, but that she cheated on Spike, lied to Spike and slept with Riley maybe even got pregnant by Riley. Obviously, Spike does not really know Buffy that well and I feel you can't really be in love with someone you don't know. He obviously still has feelings for Cecily. He can't let go of her. If he can't really see what is happening before him and instead chooses to believe Buffy would do that to him, he hasn't let go of Cecily. How can he really be in love with Buffy, if he still has really strong feelings for another woman and bases all of his decisions and feelings on what he felt with this past woman? I think he loves Buffy but not sure he can be "in love" with her yet. I am so happy that this story is being more realistic and Spike is going to get help with his issues so he can have a loving relationship with Buffy and his child. It's refreshing to see Spike being "called on" his inappropriate behavior and issues. (The fact that he thinks so little of women in general to use them for his own self-esteem is yet another issue). Anyways, looking forward to see how the therapy will help them both finally reach a functional relationship.

The pace is wonderful and look forward to these updates!
