Geez, Dawn. You know, he doesn't deserve this much pain, just because of a thing between Buffy and him, and for leaving. One, you shouldn't be playing around with magic, and two, this is so childish, it's ridiculous.

I was so glad that Buffy finally told somebody what she was thinking, but Xander wasn't even listening. And I thought that Willow was maybe going to explain things to him since she seemed to understand. But now I am dying to know what Willow is planning. Can't wait to find out what is going on.

Ok, let me get this straight-- Dawn left one surprise and Willow left another? Neither of them knows the other is playing with magicks? And maybe neither of these little "gifts" is working the way it's supposed to, because Spike has a soul now? How close did I get-- Did I win the prize? A good chapter-- and while I not a huge fan of all things Scooby, looks like Willow gets it, and poor. clueless Xander is, well, clueless. I'm glad to see that Buffy is in full "Want, take, have" mode when it comes to Spike. I'm looking very forward to the "taking" and the "having" portion of this story! ;)

Great update-- Everyone blames Willow right away, and rightfully so. Dawn is so under the radar on this one. I really like the interaction between Buffy and Dawn, and Buffy doing the typical, "Do as I say, and not as I do, " speech. I really like the interplay between Spike and Buffy at the crypt-- very sweet. Please update soon!

Hmmm...Since Dawn is behind the little gifts, or at least one of the gifts, I wonder why Spike keeps feeling strange things in his stomach. Sounds like more than just the soul. Love how Buffy insists on Giles having tea with her and Spike-- Great update, and I'm really looking forward ot the next chapter.

I sort of enjoyed all the tension that came with this chapter. ; ) And I'm glad that Buffy is standing up to Giles and Xander. Excellent point with the dancing demon by the way. I always thought that Xander should have known better. Loved it. More please.

So much emotion and acusation floating around, and no one is saying anything to anyone. Amazing how much can be said without any communication. But I guess we learned all about that with "Hush." I am truly fascinated with this story. I know sometime soon something big and terrible is gonna happen, or something sweet and dear, and I can hardly wait. Please, update soon!

As I said before, I absolutely love this story. I love how everyone thinks in this. I like seeing their thoughts and reasons. And the whole people thinking the wrong things and not having all of the facts...well its sure to be interesting. Can't wait for more.

in my first (and only i think... sorry about that!) review i said something about the creepy ending... today i read all the other chapters and i must say that almost all the characters are scaring me, for different reasons. Dawn, of course, is the creepiest.... with a twisted vengance spirit. And i fear what the others can do.... giles being too rational, xander too dense, willow.... still out of her mind. Hope that buffy with found herself, among all these lost people... and help spike (and with spike's help)

I love that Buffy is trying to mend fences with Spike, though one can't be sure what her motives are as of yet. And Giles seems to be slipping down a pretty dangerous path. Whether he just ends up pissing off Buffy or more, well I suppose time will tell. Really love the dark edge this story has. Great chapter.
