It's not so much Buffy's bad for not telling her family. It's her bad for not telling WILLIAM what she was thinking. Those decisions need to be made as a couple, especially right now. William was blind-sided because he heard this news from Angel first. I'd be upset in his place, too. He probably assumed that her family saw the tabloids and called her about it like Giles did him, so everybody close to them already knew.

Just started this story and I'm pretty intrigued.

One thing. Kennedy. There is no way a 7 y.o. sounds like that. She sounds at least 10 or 11. I know it's a technicality abd she's not a main character, but i found it terribly distracting throughout this whole chapter.

Again nice chapter. To those below yes the both mad poor choices. However Buffy is married took vows and was havning affair with another man for 5 years. Will William/Spike was still faithful. Sorry I can't say they even. Would be different if he did the same, but marriage vows suppose to mean a lot. Even with all her guilt she still carried on. On top of that she practically playing with Lindsey (even if he knew what he was getting into). So really taking all those things in consideration you have to say she just making one mess after another. Keep up the good work tho ... need more chapter quicker we want spuffy to make feel better :)

Im also glad you're back and look forward to your story. But I have to say that how SAD is it that you post a warning that there is some Spike/other in the beginning of the story and if some readers are so fragile as to be traumatized by that horrible fact they shouldnt read the story. I understand why you did it, but the fact that some readers are so infantile that they are horrified by such a possibility makes me ashamed of fanfiction fandom. Seriously. I understand warnings for sensitive content like violence, graphic sex, rape, etc but just another pairing rising to that warning level is infantile and in my opinion not to be honored or taken seriously at all. Anyway, I needed to get that off my chest, because I've seen it elsewhere too and it just really boils me. You, beasleysmom, however, I like and do look forward to this story. Please don't hold anything back in writing it - it's your story, and let the reader beware - anything you choose to write or to go is up to you, plot wise. :-)

Author's Response: Thank you so much sweetie! The reason for the warning is because I have read way too many flames about Buffy/Other Spike/Other pairings and them saying that if they would have known before hand they would have never read so I am just watching my own back on this one. I totally plan on letting this fic go as palnned and if some people don't want to read because they can't handle Buffy or Spike being with someone else for plot purposes then they can just miss out on all the yummy Spuffy in the end, LOL!
