update again tonight as promised!!! like now would be good. haha. good update, but dont change what you write or continue to write based on what your reviewers tell you to do. we like YOUR writing. thats why your name is the author. ignore those dumb reviewers who tell you what you should be doing. unless they tell you that you should be updating, then i agree 100%

Man she is such a child yet.......I"m divided, but not evenly.....I hate how she''s treated Lindsey and to be honest to make things work she needs to cut all ties with the man......I know I would't want my loved one working anywhere near the perosn they had a relationsip with for 5 years, especially one that is so totaally in love with them. It's interesting you gave them privy to do these things from the press, very interesting since it was the press that brought it out. Now about the house, I say he should give it too her and be done with it......both are being children on this. Give her the damn house and let go, for now. Buffy needs to stand on her own and be her own woman and figure out in her head what she's readty to take on and then fight like hell for it. Great chapter.....I hope Buffy gets a new manager very soon.......

Geez, how irrational can she get! Buffy never made it past the maturity of 14, obviously. No one's been living in that house for years, so what the hell should it matter? She hasn't wanted it for 8 years, so this is completely unreasonable. So the house should just stand there empty for 8 more years, Buffy? That doesn't make a lick of sense.

You know, you're probably getting sick and tired of seeing me here, but....
I just reread the chapter. Then I reread my reviews and some other readers.
Here's the thing; I think I was looking at Spike's reaction from the perspective of the show itself.
Spike seemed to always know what made Buffy tick or shall we say, know what she was thinking.
At least in the show.
I forget that right now, in this fic, he's completely clueless as to what exactly is going though the girl's addled mind.
Of course he would see her possibly moving another guy into the house, I understand that now.
I'd be pissed too, so I can understand that.
Her motives may not be that, but he doesn't know that.
I guess I just want caveman Spike, where he flies to New York and carries Buffy off into the sunset.
That's the Spike I miss.

I have to disagree with Spufette also. I think your letting your love of Buffy's character cloud your judgement. Buffy left Spike without speaking to him for years. On top of that she is sleeping with someone else. Why would Spike want to keep the house? Why would Spike want Buffy and her new lover to stay at the house that he and Buffy lived in. To have Buffy and Lindsey share the same bed that he and Buffy once shared.

I don't think Buffy is thinking things through she sees selling the house as an end to their marriage, once the house is gone you could never go back. Buffy doesn't realize that Spike probably doesn't see it that way. From his point of view Buffy already has a new lover/husband lined up ready to move into their old house.

I think that as woman we sometimes need to look at things through a mans point of view despite how hard it is.

I do love this story! I'm just pissed at both Spike and Buffy cos' theiy're not doing what 'I' want them to, LOL.

Yeah, you see, that´s just it, you let it get so angsty, that the reunion is just not believable, you´ve got to do a lot to make that seem even remotely possible.

Spuffet I have to disagree. You have to look at it from his point of view. Even though they both have been hard headed and caused this whole mess to begin with. She hasn't tried to contact him in years and when he does see her she with another man. So really from is point of view she really don't care about the marriage or him. So why would he think she would care about the house. So the house is just some object they both own and now trying to deal with it in the most fair way possible. Really he could take for half of everthing if he wanted to. She has not expressed to him that she still loves or even care for him. So I can see his side very easily.

Again another good chapter. Really need these updates faster :)

Spike needs to pull his head out of his ass, just for once.
Buffy needs to pull it out, again.
If Spike doesn't understand why Buffy doesn't want to sell the house, then I seen no hope for these two and their futures.
I would have expected Spike to want to hold onto the house not Buffy, but I'm sure Drusilla has poisoned him legally wise.
I hope Spike and Dru haven't slept together yet, but i suppose that's praying for too much.

Drusilla is a good lawyer character in this.

I don't know, I'll continue reading but I don't think even i'm up for a court battle at this time.
Or Drusilla hanging all over Spike in front of Buffy.
I guess I'm just seeing things too one-sided in this fiction.
