Great update! At least the truth is out about Aimee. I know Maria will be there for both Buffy and William. Let the games begin. I'm sure the person listening in will play a major part in everyone finding out just what a bitch Aimee is. Or not. On with the angst.

Poor Buffy, talk about having a bad day... first she overhears Spike's confession, then she has a confrontation with Aimée. Aimée is such a cold, calculating person, i'm really looking forward to her getting her comeuppance. Loved the suspenseful ending of the chapter. Can't wait to find out who was standing in the shadows. Thanks for the great update Mari, I really enjoyed it! :D

I enjoyed reading Spike's musings, especially the part when he compared his upcoming talk with Maria to his previous battles with cutthroat pirates, he's right, Maria probably is more terrifying... lol! It was nice to see Buffy make the first move for change, loved the Spuffy kissage. Great chapter as always! :D
