Seems that all good things come to those who wait but Buffy is not cooperating! Hope Spike tracks her down before she takes the plunge into the nuns habits for good. Aimee is such a greedy girl to desire that which she can no longer have, she really must hate her sister to ruin her life and not lose any sleep over it. Buffy should find the strength in her love for Spike to fight for him and more so because Aimee has never had Buffy stand up to her. Fight for your man woman! If Aimee wants to fight dirty, then let the dirt fly and see who has the dirtiest laundry to bare. As for Dona Darla, it seems that she too has her reckoning waiting in the shadows for her.

I feel sorry for Angel in his mistaken belief that Aimme loves him, I can only hope that he gets some well deserved compassion from Cordelia.

Aimée is a greedy girl, yes, but she's about to learn that she can't get everything she wants. And don't worry about Buffy, in maybe 2 or 3 more chapters you'll discover a very different woman than she's been so far. Everything is going to change now.

I know that Darla has her motives to do as she has done but I'm still happy that her selfishness is helping, at least a little bit, Buffy and Spike.
I can't help but wonder how Joyce is going to take Spike asking her if it's okay for him to pay court to Buffy, lol.
I'm happy for Spike, that he's getting his father's last name and accepted by Angel, and though I don't agree with most of his thoughts, I do understand them.
Buffy's scene broke my heart 'cause I can feel just how hurt she is. I'm still hoping that when the time comes she'll at least hear William out.
Aimée, oh Aimée, I don't even know what to say about that girl anymore. She's delusional still and is more than a bit narcissistic. But as much as I can't stand her character I am utterly in love with the way you're writing her.
You are evil, teasing us with that little A/N at the end, lol. I'm actually a bit nervous about this 'unexpected twist' but oh so eager to find out. I can't wait to see what you have planned next :D

I'm glad you understand Spike's, even if you don't agree with some of his thoughts. I think I might not agree with some of them, too, but he's kind of taken over so there's not much I can do but follow his lead.
Buffy's scene was so hard to write, I was crying the whole time I wrote it. But I think it worked out in the end and portrayed the depth of what she's feeling. About her wanting to hear William out? Well, that's coming on the next chapter, you'll find out then. *evil grin*

Darla's plans are playing out nicely, she really made Spike an offer he couldn't refuse. Can't wait for Spike to find Buffy, that's gonna be one exciting confrontation. The Aimée scene was interesting, seems like she's crossed into as Spike would probably say 'sack of hammers land.' Loved the chapter!

Yeah, there was no way that Spike was going to refuse Darla's offer. Now convincing Buffy could prove to be a little more difficult to do. ;) Poor deluded Aimée thought life wasn't fair with her, but it's about to turn even worse in many senses. ;)

OMG! Now I feel for poor Buffy. What Maria told Spike about the relationship not fair to Buffy with his jealousy over Buffy's engagement. It seems Spike if he does marry her will have a very hard time convincing Buffy he truely loves her. thanx luv and wait for more updates.

Spike's confrontation with Aimée was awesome, I absolutely loved it! I'm a bit worried by Aimée's reaction though, a desparate, determined and deeply delusional Aimée can't be of the good. Can't wait to read more. Fantastic chapter!

The confrontation between Aimee and Spike and Darla was something she richly deserved. She plots and schemes and doesn't care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants. Poor Buffy, all set to give up living and hide away to shelter her broken heart. I can only hope that her horse shows better sense than her and returns her back to Spike.

i was very shocked at how forthcoming spike was with the "if blood has to be spilt then so be it". this was very I will do what has to be done which is the attitude he will need to win buffy back. the timing was good for the spike/aimee confrontation. i can't wait to see how this unfolds

I waited for this chapter so long!!! I love it. The confrontation between William and Aimee was violent, I think we just saw an aspect of him that we never seen before. I cant wait for the reunion between William and Buffy.
