What a thoroughly fascinating read this has been so far. Tessa is quite engrossing - initially I balked at her apparent immaturity for bearing a grudge against William for nothing more than his seeming failure to return her affections...and hey she was 12 so it's just as well he didn't yeah? But then discovering he turned her (and then left her cause HEY...no childer with him and Dru when they came to BtVS) made me angry. Then it was all 'oh ok he did it to save her from her final death at Dru's hands' so I was sympathetic again and NOW after this chapter I feel absolutely horrified for poor Tessa and her suffering but also want her eyes struck out for touching Dawn! LOL. I love it when a fic makes me do that so please - update soon. 8-)
Author's Response: LOL I'm happy the fic is causing you to have such a strong reaction to everything! Tessa is a complex character, and I think it's important for readers to both sympathize with her and hate her at the same time. I hope you continue to enjoy the story!

I'm glad that Allison rec'd this story! I feel sorry for Tessa, and she's an interesting new character so far. And I even kinda feel sorry for Harmony. Yeesh. What's wrong with me? LoL. Ok going to read the next two chapters.

Oh .. seems that Tessa had her share with Angelus too when she lived with them. I fear too that William wouldn't be able to protect her around the clock. But that's bad! Tessa got Dawn and feed from her too till she got unconscious. I wonder how far she will go? She should know for herself how bad it is to be turned so young.
Author's Response: Tessa definitely lived through a lot with Angelus,none of which was good. You'll have to wait and see exactly what Angelus did and what Tessa will do with Dawnie. All will be revealed soon:)

So Tessa was twelve when she got turned... *wonder if it was Spike* Oh yeah it was him. No wonder she hates it when she was so young. A bit too young for eternity. I see... that didn't sound like Spike. It was Dru's fault and Spike wanted to save her. Uh-huh... I maybe have a glimpse (a very little glimpse!) what Harmony will wish for Spike ;-)
