I noticed an inconsistency. When Buffy goes to save Spike from Riley and has chased him away, she says to SPike that she is going to go close door indicating that it is open, but just a few sentences earlier you have written that Riley's pleads were met with a closed door. otherwise, great chapter
Author's Response: *snort* Ooops. You caught me :) Actually, that's something that I didn't even notice, which is weird, since I wrote the whole door-slamming-in-Riley's-face dealie. Thanks for mentioning it, and I'll figure out a way to reword it ^_^

Once again, really good chapter. It's just so weird how the memories of this story coming flooding back as I read. But I can only remember up to where I've read, can't remember anything beyond that. Ah well, guess you can still surprise me. ;) Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Oh, I've had that happen before - there were dozens upon dozens of stories I read when I first wrote Out of My Head in '01-'02, but unfortunately for me, a lot of them are no longer to be found. Thank God I established my website before it was too late. Keep reading, I might have a few surprises left ^_^

Well, again, I only vaguely remember the story, but it's coming back to me as I read it again. So, I'm not remembering anything you've changed, but it's really well written, so I'm gonna say that your revisions are good. Really good chapter! Riley is grating on my nerves, which he did in the show too. It's kind of difficult, because the guy, Marc Blucas, is actually really hot, but the character, Riley Finn, is an annoying pain in the butt. Anyway, like I said, excellent chapter. Looking forward to more! =)
Author's Response: Ohh, see the problem with me is that my dislike of the character has a bad habit of transferring to the actor who portrays the character. I can't watch anything with either David Boreanaz or Marc Blucas in them because I'll get pissed off and throw stuff at the TV. Very bad.

Riley's a desperate little psycho. That's nice. Haha, I had a mental image of Spike actually wearing Buffy's shirt. Yeah, that's funny. You know how Spike left his shirt in her room? (I think that's what you meant..) How cute would it be if the next time they see each other, she's wearing it? His shirt was probably like a XS anyway. Spike + uber-tight black t-shirt = yummy nummy spicy salty greatness..
Author's Response: With Riley, I was trying to make him seem at least a little bit normal. In the show, he seriously had an inferiority complex in reference to both Spike and Buffy and in the Spuffy realm, we seem to have expanded on that by at least 50x. ^_^ And I actually hand't thought of Spike wearing Buffy's shirt, cuz frankly.... that's kinda disturbing, but I know what you meant :) He collected Buffy's clothes in the show, so what's to say that he won't do the same here?
