I really like your characterization of Willow, and Spike's distrust of her. It's original and very true to life. Great update, can't wait for the rest of this.

Author's Response: She got off too easily, even before she skinned Warren. Thanks for the review!

Again, thank you for spinning a good yarn. There is so much more to your stories than the same ol', same ol'. I like that you do things differently--your own way. I await your next installment with baited breath.

Author's Response: You really know how to make a girl blush. I know its kind of silly to worry about my fanfic being too derivitive (because hello, fanfic!), but I do. Thanks for reviewing!

*grins* I'm wondering if someone will ask Spike which car he took.
Proto-Germanic.. that fits with the The Juniper Tree from the Brothers Grimm. I didn't see it when I first read the chapter. I was too busy reading and start anew to write a comment now.
So Willow is still on her black and white sight of things..
And Willow's words had struck a nerve with Spike because he tries and tries and wants Buffy to see him. I think she started to do it now.
Tara had the explanation for it. So Willow doesn't like the mirror that Spike is for her in not trusting her completely and reminding her what she has done. ~ Wow a cauldron? Very big to steal it. I just went and read the English and the German version of this very tale. I read it before but it is not very familiar for me. I wonder how it is connected; because of *nods* resurrection! Including deadly revenge of the one that killed the son. So it fits indeed. *necromancers!*

Author's Response: Grimm's fairy tales are so freaky! Glad you're liking the interpersonal stuff too. Thanks for the review!

Willow's hinkiness around Spike was well described, and I especially like the phrase "...power harnessed with precious little restraint." Tara concisely put Willow in perspective, and it's a bit disconcerting that Willow's so wary because she can't control Spike or Meret through magic...that means she can control the rest of the group if she pleases. The initial bit with Spike returning Harris' keys was sharply written, and his plans to make up for the theft made me laugh.

Author's Response: You can eat (cast) anything you want except for that one apple (spell). And yeah, Spike is growing a conscience, but it's still kind of funky. ;-) Thanks for the review!
