HI there! I just *knew* you couldn't have killed Meret! I just knew it... So, ok i panicked a bit but I knew a fellow McCaffrey lover wouldn't have done that. Right. And, yes to the offering of Xander bit for Meret's sake *grin*
This was great! I just love it when Meret messes up with Spike!!! I love that little Coalt! lol I can just see her nosing around Spike's curls! lol
Anyway, the plot is back (and scaringly) on track.
cheers
mikim
Author's Response: Yeah, I love her too much. ;-) Plottiness and action will abound for the next little bit. Hope you like it! Thanks for the review!

And the plot thickens. Glad Meret is finally pulling her weight around here ;) I really do like her, do you have any extras lying around?
See, here's the thing...YOU wouldn't do anything to put a damper on their relationship, but THEY totally would. Stupid ignorent people who don't know what's good for them..
Author's Response: I've been thinking of making myself a stuffed animal of her. Does that count?
And yeah, those two are all about coming up with new and interestinf road blocks. I'll see what i can do about that. ;-)

This chapter flowed beautifully, and was rife with emotional moments. Meret's pilfering was a very funny resolution to what I thought was a perilous predicament. The shared vision was creepy, and the details of Giles' hands sewing up and moving the starling was nice and creepy.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this one. The last few chapters have been challenging to write, but fun too. Thanks!

And we're running. Next chapter please.
Of course, I love that Buffy insisted on Spike AND Meret staying upstairs, but she busts down there anyway. I really like this Buffy...very mid to late season seven--chill minus the crazy baggage at times. Hopefully you know what I mean by this. :-)
Author's Response: Hypocracy, thy name is Buffy. I'm actually really flattered by that description of my Buffy. I've been trying to angle her into a healthier frame of mind, so chill without as much baggage seems to be right on track!. Thank you!

Ah, good indeed to see Meret well. So she was busy, huh? Stealing some stuff *gg* Indeed, Spike trained her well *grins*
Spike should be glad.. he saw now that Buffy does care very much for him .. she was worried to. (And apparently Meret wants the crown for herself, means for her stone figure. Cute.)
*gggg* Meret teasing with Spike's curls? Fun to read, but poor Spike, what he has to suffer hehe.
And Meret has a lead now. ~ Till next chapter!
Author's Response: No coat, no hair gel, evil pet/companion... Yeah, Spike's having a hard time. XD Thanks for the review!

Glad Meret is only sheepish, not harmed. (Can a reptile be sheepish? I suppose if a human can...) And as much as I like the Spuffy, I'm glad they're getting back on task to find and rescue Giles. (And aww, curly Spike.)
Author's Response: My academic advisor says that most reptiles only have two emotions: indifferent and enraged. I like to think that Meret can elaborate further and include sheepish, affectionate, devious, and sometimes even apologetic. ;-) More giles coming up very soon. I promise! Thanks for the review!

Ooh, I wonder what they're going to find. Wonderful chapter, love the dynamics between Spike, Buffy and Meret, and it's always a delight to find an update by you. :D Hee! Can't wait to read how Spike and Buffy's blooming relationship is going to keep growing. More please?
Author's Response: Next chapter's up. (Sorry about the wait!) I hope you like this one too. Thanks!
