Absolute gorgeousness. Love this 'verse. Love the idea of Spike truly being Buffy's equal & opposite, right down to being the defender of the dead. Love the exploration of the life-death continuum. Keep writing... you're awesome at it!

Fabulous sequel, I really loved reading every word and hope you will write more in this series. I will keep looking out for any more of your stories. Thank you for working so hard to give us such enjoyment.
Author's Response: I'm definitely planning on it. In the meantime, I'm glad you liked this one! Thanks for the review!

This is one of the greatest fics I've ever had the pleasure of reading!! I can't wait to read more in this universe. Absolutely brilliant, hilarious, well-written, and well-thought out. My only question was that I wasn't sure who the god's little sister was that was mentioned in Spike's last conversation with him.
my email is jerjessie@yahoo.com if you could be so kind as to answer that one confusion. :)
Thanks for the great story, and PLEASE keep writing!!
Author's Response: Micty (am I lazy for not spelling out his whole name?) called Meret his little sister a few times. He only did it in passing, so I guess that was a slip-up on my part. I'm really glad you enjoyed this story though! I'll keep writing, especially in this 'verse. Promise! Thank you for the review!

I love this story Meret is so cute with her reactions. I wonder how Riley would have reacted to her since the end of the chapter happens after the wedding and that means Riley came and went. I bet Meret would hiss at Angel if she ever met him and probably flee when she meets Cordy which would warn about something. I hope you wite more stories in this verse it so cool with Meret.
Author's Response: I'm planning on another one, as soon as I finish "Going Forth By Day." I'm glad you liked this one though! Thanks!

I love Meret, and Your stories, of course. Do You think about sequel?
Author's Response: Thinking about it. I'm working on something unrelated at the moment, but that won't last forever. Glad you liked this one though!

I just finished reading both stories and loved every bit of them. Meret was such a creative and wonderful addition to the scoobies. You did a wonderful job capturing the essence of all the characters and and building the relationships throughout the stories. I really enjoyed the whole 'Meret-verse' you created and would love to read more stories if you decide to explore it further. Thanks for all your great writing and sharing your obvious talents.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I've got an idea for another fic in this series in mind, but I'm off wrestling with another plot bunny at the moment.

Awww, little Meret Jr.s! Love this 'verse. Can't wait to read more of it. Thanks for writing.
Author's Response: Hee! I'm glad you're liking it. Thanks for the review!

very very cute....i'd love to see this story continued
Author's Response: I'm planning on it after I get a particularly evil, unrelated plot bunny off of my heels. Thanks!

This story was awesome! I loved it! I was happy to see you're going to revisit this particular series. I think Buffy and Spike deserve some more one-on-one time with eachoter in black and white ;) Not to mention the michief the little coatls are going to get into!! Can't wait for your next one.
Author's Response: Thank you! Black and white, huh? We'll see. ;-) I'm glad you're liking the stories!

I think you did a very good job with this story. I hope you're not done writing even if you want to leave Meret's story alone for a while.
I look forward to reading more
Author's Response: Oh, no. Not done with writing. I've just got a fully grown, particularly obnoxious plot bunny on my tail that wants to be written next. I'll be revisiting Meret and crew when that one's done. Thanks for reviewing!

Xander is married now? They stopped the problems in time then. :)
Mictlantechutli is visiting Spike again? I wonder if he has a reason to do. ~ *g* And Spike is drinking his xocolatl after all, huh? If it was Mictlantechutli's remark? *g*
Mmmh Mictlantechutli's little sister? Is someone pregnant? Ah :) Merrit. Then the "Child of Life should get one" makes sense. Loved Joyce threat :))
Loved it! That includes the whole story. And the best news are that you're planning to visit this 'Verse again :-D
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked my long, strange ride. I'll be writing more in this, just not next. Thanks!

Awww. And yay! I kind of suspected, what with Meret being ravenous in the last chapter... wow, three more coatls? The talking in everyone's head is gonna get nuts!
Love them all sweet together, too.
Author's Response: Yeah, I telegraphed that one like mad. :-D Three mini-Meret's is going to cause all kinds of lovely chaos, so no end to this series in the forseeable future. Thanks!

Loved it, loved it, loved it! I'm happy to know what happened but sad to see it end. Meret is one of my favorite original characters! And giving Buffy an egg was absolutely precious. Loved that scene. Great fic! Absolutely great!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'll be picking this 'verse back up after I write my next fic, so it's not really the end. I'm glad you liked this one (and Meret) so much!

What a wonderful ending to this entertaining adventure. I loved Spike's observation " There were a lot of times, like this one, when Spike thought that maybe he had never awakened after killing Maclin, and that his body was lying in withering stasis somewhere, dreaming away. Buffy was more relaxed, dare he say more happy, than she had been since her resurrection. Even with their rough patches, Spike was completely enthralled by the open, playful passion she had brought into his unlife. She had ensnared him, body and absent soul, so thoroughly that it seemed impossible that this wasn’t a dream. Then again, he seriously doubted his subconscious mind’s ability to come up with the ridiculous events of the last few months. Even he wasn’t that insane." This highlighted what a peaceful, happy state you've left them both in. The road to it has been a wonderful read.
I'm delighted there's more to come, and the addition of three more coatls (whatever the plural of coatl is) is going to be a lot of fun. Thanks for taking the time to do these characters justice, and for putting them through their paces with such intricate plotting and attention to detail.
Author's Response: I'm going to be running with coatls, so uh, artistic license if it ends up being coatlae or something weird like that. And thank you thank you about the last comment in particular. That really means a lot to me.
