story wise. I'm still not aboard the spuffy ship, I feel buffy is getting the left overs regardless of how many flashback we get, or inner turmoil spike shares with us. I wish she'd gotten married too and shared a pregnancy with another man that wasn't spike... And THEN met up with widowed, yet still in loved with his wife, spike.  I get they're supposed to love each other now, but as much as I adore them getting together, it's still a lot of "bleh" feeling being evoked.

like I almost want to root for Claire and spikes love to be the bigger and better love. To me what buffy is doing for him no longer compares. Despite all that's happened, and what you have them say to each other, it's amounted to a lesser, less grandeur love. Story that spike and Clair's.

Lastly, I want to say that I kept rooting for her stay to be momentary, to set everyone's hearts at ease and then say good bye by hoping back into the portal to her alternate reality.
