*sigh* Giles doesn't believe Willow. And Lorne is found? Maybe he can help, 'reading' Spike and Buffy. But Giles GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, really. *on to the next* And Kim is right with her count.. one time saving everybody is more than Spike killed before.

I want to beat Giles over the head with a shovel.

Spike saved 7 billion people! Even if he killed and ate 300,000 during his time as an unchipped vampire, that has to count for something. And after he was sent back to unlife, he stayed and fought again, knowing he would probably die from it, with the kind of odds they faced. The Powers acknowledge things like that....they acknowledge a being that turns his back on everything he'd ever been for over a hundred years, choosing to get a soul, and probably dying twice to save the world and let Buffy and Dawn have a future still.

Lorne making it to France already...bit surprised that was his location of choice...but, yeah, he'll be able to tell Spike/William what's up right away. I'm surprised Giles is so willing to grant asylum for Lorne, though. Presumably, he never met Lorne...never knew how he worked or what side he liked to stay on. I'm amazed Giles even believes the empath ability is real, considering that Pyleans have hardly ever made it to Earth.

Come on, Willow...stick to your guns. Yeah, Giles has been a mentor, but you know his judgement towards Spike is skewed because of the whole Angelus incident. He'd never trust or like another vampire ever again, really.

Liked Buffy giving him the cross, and his sweet reaction to it. Andrew and William in the pub was neat, too.

Author's Response: I know, it doesn't add, but sometimes Giles doesn't see clearly where Buffy is involved.
