Good chapter. I wonder if Giles will figure out that William Pratt and Spike are one in the same. I am glad that Buffy is interested in Spike although she is in denial about it.

Author's Response: Hmm, I don't think at this point Giles knows any more of Spike than what's on the Watcher's Diaries. And Spike was never too keen on sharing his background, so there's your answer. ;) Thank you for your review!

I liked Buffy's interaction with Giles, how thoughtful of him to try to get a salary for her. The patrol was so much fun! I really enjoyed reading Buffy and Spike's musings. It was so naughty of Spike to play a joke on Buffy like that, but at least it ended well... loved the Spuffy kissage. And William handled himself beautifully with Cicely. But his meeting with her seems kind of omnious, I can't help but wonder what horrible thing she's gonna to to him. Fantastic chapter! :D

Author's Response: Thank you, honey! Hee, we're glad you enjoyed that, we had much fun writing it. ;) Oh, don't worry about William that much, she might try to do something to him but I don't think he's going to allow her to hurt him anymore. ;)

OMG, I am sooooo behind on all the stories I'm following and the reviews I want to leave, so right there with ya ladies. Wow, love how protective buffy is about her letters and the desk - hell, I would be too. Hmm, seems spike is slowly liking buffy a little more as we go along - btw great inner dialogue he has and Buffy too - we're kinda running parallel here between this and my fic... lol. Very well done too if I may say so.
Ooooh, hot moment - "are we still talking about your news?" (kiss her damnit kiss her - lol). After he tried distracting her with the line.. isn't that a frakar demon - I died laughing. Don't know why it struck me as being that funny, but it did, I'm still giggling. I thought there little chase and the "boo" was kinda cute - like a couple playing. She actually straddled him? God that whole scene was a wonderful combo of hotness and comedy. Made me laugh, made me tingle in all the right places. LOL, bout time Cecily got a taste of her own medicine. Oh and I agree on the sending pictures issue, shouldn't happen right away, but it would be nice to work it in there somehow - me and my wishful thinking. I love this chappy, thanks.

Hee, it was very fun to write her being so protective of those. :D And yes, Spike's liking her much more than he thought he would. And you're right, there seem to be some parallels, I noticed that after catching up with your story, which I'm loving, btw.

*lol* We're trying to keep things light in this story, which is why you'll find more comedy than angst, and it makes Lu and I very happy to know that we made you laugh with this chapter. Hee, yeah, Cecily sure got that taste and probably will have some more of that before this story ends. ;) I think we can work something with the sending pictures issue, just have to find the right place. Uh-huh.. Buffy is very protective of her letters (and her desk). Loved the patrol :) Starting from Buffy being distracted with thought of Spike, getting clothes for patrol till the end when Buffy was reminded on the spell or short: The snogging. Loved the dialog including the thoughts. ~ And Cecily doesn't like to be second. I wonder what she can do to William. ~ Till next chapter!

Author's Response: Yep, Buffy is awfully protective of anything she considers William related. And William isn´t interested in Cecily anymore, that´s great. I ask myself what she is going to do to get his attention back.
