Wow, this was an emotional & kinda depressing chapter for me. I am not sure how I feel about all of it. I wish Buffy, Spike & Dawn had all talked about what happened in the motel. Things went from bad to oh so worse with Buffy & Spike not communicating. I am glad that Dawn at least gave both Spike & Buffy her perspective on things. I like that you show Buffy struggling to come to an understanding about the true nature of Spike. I hate to see Spike so emotionally beat down...not to mention physically hurt badly again...feels like he just recovered. I loved that you had Xander give Spike...& accidently Buffy...such good advice. I hope they take it. The big evil has struck out twice so far...something tells me the big evil won't be too happy about this. Now comes Angel, the ramifications of Spike saving Xander's life, more Buffy & Spike angst, the Cleveland Hellmouth, big evil plans to be thwarted, & much much more...can't wait for a new chapter...cause I can honestly say I do not know what is going to happen.
