wonderful, you've shown the stages of healing beautifully. most people forget you need to heal on the inside as well as the physical. cleverly written. i am really enjoying this and look forward to your updates

Thank you for this story. I just started it a few days ago and caught up. I love this story a great deal. You have an incredible imagination. I love all the detail and obvious foresight that has gone into the backstories, descriptions, and the fact that the characters have all been allowed to mature a bit but naturally. I really needed this today. My beloved pet of 12 years died today and being able to sit with your story and completely immerse in this other world for an afternoon..well, it got me through a very difficult day. Never underestimate what you are doing by writing fan fiction. You provide a guility pleasure for some...but for others, you provide a catharsis and also sometimes a distraction from whatever bad might be going on in that person's life. I just wanted you to know that you did a good thing today whether you knew it or not.

Very sorry that the young slayer had such a tragic and brutal death.

Author's Response: It was a shame about Chastity. That's what happens when there's a BMOC - Bad Man on Campus! History and Spike told us all along that he was a viscious killer. She should know that, but when you only see one side, someitmes it's hard to accept. Thanks for the comment

Terrific Story - like that you have brought in the use of an older people being turned - your Binne is a good "very bad man." The potential for vamps to try and live outside the normal vamp life is another very interesting theme. Hope to see an update very soon.

Author's Response: Hi Chrissie, I think it's oneof the reasons Spike has been around so long. He doesn't always think things through, but he has great instincts. Neither Giles nor Xander ever liked Spike and Giles was party to an attempted murder. He'll go slow. And, for sure, his injuries have cut to his very soul. I love comments. They're like cookies!
