Another good chapter, and the lovemaking moved the story forward. Buffy's admitted to herself that she's in love. Clothes and talking and other characters will be good, too, but I enjoyed the intimacy of this chapter.

I seriously can't believe you would be embarassed.!You write some of the most erotic Buffy/Spike scenes out of all the fanfic authors. Sure lots of fanfic authors write smut, but yours aren't just hot, they are so filled with emotion and meaning that the are not just a smutty scene thrown in, but an intregal and usually pinnacle point in the story. This isn't an easy thing to do, but you do it well.

So no, no embarassment. I think I read somewhere that you were leaving fanfic writing, and for that I am sorry to hear. You will be missed a great deal. I think I have read each of your fics more than once and delighted in every one.

Thanks for the update. This is a unique and enjoyable fic and I am excited to see how it plays out.

Author's Response: I can't tell you how much your comments meant. Sometimes it is difficult to not take on criticisms perhaps aimed at other writers and pin it on yourself, whether warranted or not, and the level of smut that has gone on in this fic has been pretty extreme. I have been feeling very down this year, and have lost focus rather badly, I think. I tried to regain some of that, and to enjoy writing again by giving it a go under an alias (along with a friend who has done the same) but it's backfired and the secret is now out and my enthusiasm has dropped again. At this point my aim is to just finish my WIP's so that people who are following them aren't disappointed. I still have plot bunnies, and I still have a desire to see a couple of my big ideas written, but I will have to wait and see how I feel when I'm debt free so to speak. Thank you so much for what you've said. It came at a time when things were very difficult. I'm glad youa re enjoying DP. It's almost at an end and I hope to have a enw chapter up this weekend. Megan

Seems as if Buffy does it the hard way to cut of the dreams: She simply doesn't sleep. I wonder when the dreams will catch up with her when she is awake and starts daydreaming *grins* Cute.. drawing little ♥ around purple Spike and telling herself she does it on purpose *gg*
And all the not sleeping makes thinking and therefore research hard till impossible.
But when that (binding Buffy to Spike in order to get her killed) was Sineya's plan, she is wrong :) Awe, and then Buffy thought Spike would reject her. It was more the contrary and he was only worried... loved it. Buffy's thoughts at the end too.

Could I be cursed too please? I wouldn't mind be orange for the rest of my life if it meant lucious Spike nooky every night! Yummy! Great tale - a bit strange with all the giant carrotage and the were rabbits I'm sure will keep Anya trembling for years, but I like it! Very different. Keep up the GREAT work. more please.
