Still cute on a reread...

Cute story. Spike is very sweet. Could use a good beta to clean up some minor errors.

A truly beautiful story, with more depth to it than I orginally expected. So touching and profoundly inspiring. I loved the incorporation of Thomas Hardy's poetry too. Makes me want to dig out the ol' poetry books! You had me feeling warm and fuzzy, impossibly angry, bawling my eyes out sad and surprisingly content by the end of the story. Although I would have liked Drusilla to suffer just a lot more! ;)

just found it and read it all in one go :D aaaaand i loved it! :D i bet Dru doesn't feel as good and smug as she did before.. and deceitful Angel.. yuck.. but Spike made it all better again :D

Much cuteness and all, lovely confession scene, but you've got a few mis-spellings based on sound. If you have the time you might want to check it out, It was beautiful though. I really enjoyed it.

The Big Day :)! I have to admit it, you succeed in going on surprising the readers :)!

I have expected a such end : Spike, in front of all the school, especially Dru, Angel and the rest of the Bitches Gang, confessing his love for Buffy.

But the way you write it: you are evil ;)! You have (almost) succeeded to scare me :)! Spike who acts as he keeps on with Dru's plan, with all the sweet words he says ( "I love her")... Hum, not kind to give such fear to Buffy ;).

The strange talk between Spike and Buffy is a so good idea :)!

And when everybody realizes who is in fact the girl Spike talks about! :) :) :) ! Only one word: de-li-cious :)!

More delicious: the souless bitch's reaction!

And at the end, you give us the portrait of a new family: Buffy, Spike, Harrison and Joyce.

"This was contentment.

This was bliss.

This was her life now."

But I can't help myself to ask, have you in mind a sequel? Not now, but perhaps, one day or another? Because, your story is so rich, with interesting characters, you could explore another paths.

Could it be possible to see Dru, Angel, Cordelia and the Bitches Gang knowing really the true meaning of the word "Karma"? Buffy's parents becoming the Shame of the Town, deserted by all because of their behavior with their own daughter and grand-son? The man who raped Buffy meeting justice and getting what he deserves? Buffy saying to her friends the truth concerning Harrison's birth?

And most important... Faith castrating Angel?

I enjoyed the story and the happy ending. It is always a bit odd for me to have Joyce not be Buffy's mom, but I see how it worked better for the story. It was nice to see Faith there watching Buffy's back. Thanks.
