Oh NOOOO!!!! Poor Spike is in such a bad place. :( You do angst so well Wendy... I gotta give you props for a job well done. *reaches for a tissue* This glimpse into Spike's head is tearing my heart in two. Good thing Buffy is a fighter, she's gonna have to give it her all to try and change Spike's mind.
The Buffy/Angel scene was great. The new info about the amulet was interesting, but I especially liked that you made Buffy see Angel with clear eyes. Wonderful update!

Author's Response: Thank you. Spike is in a bad place. The only person who let him see his own reflection, for eight years, now cringes at the sight of him. In his mind, he is a monster. But you're right. Buffy is strong and convincing. Maybe she can change his mind?
