I ADORE this story, and I would very much like it to continue. This is one of the most emotional charged fics I've ever read, and you write it so well! Another excellent chapter that's got me on the edge of my seat. I do hope that Buffy is on the road to recovery. It'd be awesome if the way to break the curse is her slowly realizing and coming to terms with the fact that what she has with Spike is real love. Well, regardless, I remain your humble fan!

Excellent chapter. Buffy does have alot of questions but alteast she realizes that her feelings with Spike are really not changed, she is just confused. Spike going to Giles was a very big thing. I think it took alot for him to do so,but then again he will do anything for his love.

I am so happy to see you have updated this story. I understand how hard it is to write such beautiful stories and to keep having so many scenarios of my favorite duo. I am a big fan of yours and I read everything but the all human stories (which I have to remedy to). I don't know what to say to help you continue but I have to thank you for the wonderful tales you wrote and I will continue to read anything you write.

I'm delighted to see this story updated. I'm enjoying Spike's struggle to comfort Buffy. Her confusion about their relationship and Spike's reaction to her is a compelling read. I'm looking forward to the meeting with Giles and what he's going to have to offer. Is he going to feel compelled to stake Buffy or try to help her?

That was amazing, as always. I've lways loved your plots, and your dialogue, and this was another lovely addition. It's great to see the battle that Buffy is going through concerning Spike, it's true to the character on the show, who was always off exploring Egypt, but also not quite to that extent. I just don't quite understand how she doesn't realize why having sex with Spike didn't work. It had nothing to do with her not loving him. SHE wasn't making love, she was working towards a goal with the thought of her pain and guilt at the forefront of her mind. How can that possibly maker her happy? She was punishing herself more than anything.

Darkness fall again (i.e. ooooo another update) yaaay! Welcome back and happy new year. So do we detect a slight shift in or softening of Buffy's perception that she and Spike's are unable to truly be in love? Let's hope so. And what, if anything, will Giles be able to say or offer to help Buffy through this time? Can't wait to find out. More soon please!
