Honestly, I'm never sure how to review angsty chapters. I mean, you warned us repeatedly about the angst, and the angst doesn't bother me, it's just... what do I say? I enjoyed the chapter...Hmm.

I think it will be interesting to see how Buffy reacts to having a soul. I agree with Oz. It's not going to be as easy as Willow thinks it is. In fact, I can see Buffy being resentful of Willow for forcing the soul on her, much the way she resented the way she was brought back from the dead.

Poor Spike; he has no idea what's going on with Buffy, and so won't understand how to make it better. Is it that he doesn't love her. or she doesn't love him? Guess we'll find out as it goes.

Love this fic. I always feel it's a bit of a cop-out to make Buffy a vamp with a soul right from the start. Why should she be? But the fact that she doesn't want to kill her mother & Giles is also a great touch - just like Spike with the tender feelings for those he loved in life. Know just how RL can interfere with the creative leanings so although I congratulate you on a promotion I hope you manage to continue with the fiction - I've always been eager to read any new fics by you.

Wow, what a twist! I know I shouldn't, but there's a little bit of hope in my heart now, after Willow has found Ms.Calendar's disc. I have dark feelings how this will go on, and I'm pretty excited. For the moment, Willow has a plan, and this is good, but I never forget your strict warning about the angst that's coming... ;)
